 "What?" We all say.

"Mother didn't tell you? A journalist is covering your new relationship and the success of the family."

"Shit." Henry says, he looks fine for the interview but I have to change!

"I have something, please excuse me." I run to my room putting on the new dress Forest just got me. It's lacey on top, with a heart shaped bodice, and sheer layers that reach the ground. It's the perfect evening gown in my unfashionable opinion.

I waltz out to the sitting room where the rest of Henry's family waits. Henry grabs ahold of me tucking me into his side before gesturing for Mr. Von Don to bring in the photographer and the journalist. They ask standard questions about the Oclaires. Claudia has a new fiction book out, Mrs. Oclaire is running several charities, and asking Henry about his super exclusive vineyard. Unfortunately they know everything about me, so I mostly just nod, letting Henry answer any questions for me, saying that I'm very shy. Then come the hundreds of pictures, lots with the family, and lots of just Henry and I.

After our session it's now time for dinner, Miss Gomez is serving a "cowboy dinner" of steak, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, and a salad. Henry keeps an arm around me throughout dinner, earning us both some questioning looks from his family. I don't understand why he's being so clingy tonight.

We have a moment alone after dinner, and everyone has said their goodbyes. It's sad to know they came here for a publicity stunt, now I know what kind of people they are.

"Babe, what's going on?"

He actually blushes, "I just wasn't ready to share you with the world, only my friends." He smirks, "Will you family be upset that I'm not at your sister's wedding?"

I kiss him, "I never thought that I'd say you're sweet...but that was so sweet. They know you work nights, I guess this means I'll have to tell them that I'm dating my boss."

He laughs, "Yeah, call them tonight. The article will run in a couple of days. Let's go put your swim suit on."

I giggle, "Are you swimming with me tonight?"

"Among other things." I grin and we mock race up to our rooms, we both go into mine. He hands me a strappy white suit and he puts on a speedo. I choke on laughter, making no comment as we head for the pool.

Jeremy is already out sitting on the edge dangling his feet in the water. He hands me a vodka soda.

"Thank you." I purr, giving him a sloppy kiss. He nearly throws me in the pool, I can't stop my giggles.

"Did the interview go okay?"

"Just long and intense." Henry answers.

"Yeah, we all were talking and when we kill you off it will be best if you both die at the same time. I still think we have a decade before anyone questions your looks." He says to Henry.

"I can't wait to be unknown when we start over. At least by the humans. I am not looking forward to wearing a wig for almost a century."

"A wig?"

"Yeah, you'll have to wear one too, or dye your hair everyday."

"Everyday?"

"When we wake up, everything goes back to how we were at our transformation." Jeremy explains.

"Weird." I say, "I'm going to have a hard time leaving my family."

"I won't, I'm so done with them."

"You say that now, it will be different as you watch their kids grow up, then grandkids, etc." Jeremy sighs.

"Will you be telling your family where you've gone?"

He flips his hair studying me, "I'll tell them the country, not where. I'm so glad we've all stayed out of the public, I wouldn't like changing my name over and over."

"I think I'll be Lydia." I say.

"Why Lydia?" Henry asks.

"She's the fun sister in Pride and the Prejudice." I grin. I set my drink aside, and with Henry at my side we do laps until I'm thoroughly warn out.
