My alarm startles me awake. Forest is dead to the world beside me, I don't feel much better. I ache everywhere, whatever happy buzz I went to sleep with is long gone. I turn off the noisy alarm, and blink as I see unfamiliar surroundings. The bed itself is enormous. Did they really change my room last night?
Henry thankfully is on the opposite side of the long bed, good he's still in trouble. Making me not as mad at Bridger. I find all my clothes in the closest, including a new dress, it's red, with a choker style neckline, and a big slit up the side. Knowing that Bridger picked it out for me has me dethawing a little more towards him.
I take a quick shower to get all the cum off me, and general grossness from yesterday. Knowing Bridger expects me to wear the red dress I go ahead and put it on. I reheat a steak from last night, it tastes like crap now, maybe I should have eaten it cold. I'm just craving meat so bad, I giggle, meat.
Looking over to see if I disturbed anyone, I find that I haven't they seriously sleep like the dead during the day. I snort at that but wonder, are they undead? Is it something you're born with? Why doesn't this freak me out? I guess I'm just weird.
My phone starts ringing, I quickly answer it and step outside, I make sure my badge will unlock the door now and it does. Thank goodness.
"Hello?" I don't recognize the number.
"Miss Mooney, is your new room to your liking?" Mr. Von Don asks.
"Yes, sir. Sir it wasn't-."
"I don't need explanations. Are you feeling well enough to work tonight?"
"Yes sir. I'm heading down to my cart now."
"Very well, skip the foyer get the sitting room, offices, and pool house before the bedrooms. Tonight is the most important. Do your job well."
"Understood sir."
I ignore Harry watching t.v. with Cami. "Are you coming over tonight?" She asks him.
I see him glance at me out of the corner of my eye. "Not tonight."
My eyes narrow, it's his fault that I got in trouble with Vlad last night. Although because of that I now know their secret.
As I start dusting the sitting room, I wonder is the wine spiked with blood? Where are they getting it from? Who do they drink from normally?
I make sure the sitting room is thoroughly cleaned. After all I'm sure all manner of nastiness happened last night, and honestly I'd rather not think of anything that may or may not have happened. My chores take longer than I planned leaving my barely any time to get to Koen's room before I'm late. Koen isn't there thank the gods, neither is Dominick or Forest, they all are coming in late.
"Good evening Wrenly," Jack gruffs.
I approach him, swaying my hips seductively, "Jack." I purr. "Will you tell me about-."
He cuts me off with a kiss, "I know you have questions. Now is not the time. We need these deals to go smoothly, before sunrise we will have a little time to talk."
I pour passion into another kiss, and resume my work thankful I'm not changing sheets today.
In Bridger's room I brush through my hair, it lays full and straight, perfect. I pick some lint off my dress and go to the sitting room to await them. There are no companions today, in my gut I know they'll never be seen again.
