Wow, it has been a while, but I am on spring break now, so I have about a week and a half to write as much as possible.
And we are 3 episodes in season 6B.

"Buck, Eddie go inside, ensure no one is in there. Hen and Chimney look at those who are hurt." Cap says as they are responding to a house fire, which caused two deaths already. Eddie and Buck run into the building.
"LAFD, call out!" Eddie yells. The search each floor of the building. They continue to call out. When they reach the top floor they hear someone yell back. "Help, help, help." They say.
"Keep yelling." Buck says, they both make their way to where the person is yelling. It is a father and his daughter.
"Take her." The man says.
"No." Eddie replies. "Are you able to walk?" The child is not responding. "Buck take the kid."
"Eddie I can't leave you." He replies. Eddie knows that Buck would never allow him to take a him alone.
"I can walk" Eddie places the man's arm across his shoulder. "You stay with me, Buck has your daughter." Buck lets Eddie lead the way, as he is carrying a child and cannot use this arms to feel the way.
As they are exiting the building a flash point happens.
(If you don't know what a flash point is, its kinda when all the oxygen leaves the room and the flames take over the room)
Eddie is thrown to the ground with the man he is holding, and Buck was a few steps ahead of him, so the child is kept safe. Buck hands her off the Hen and goes after Eddie.
"EDDIE" Buck yells. "EDDIE"
"Buck!" Cap yells.
"EDDIE!" He runs up to Eddie, Cap follows him and grabs the man, while Buck grabs Eddie and pulls him back. The 118 takes notice. They would all run into a fire for each other, but Buck gave little regard to the child he was holding.
"Hen, check his man out, the 130 will look at Eddie." Cap says.
"No, they have to look at him." Buck says as he points to Hen and Chimney.
"Buck." Cap places his hand on his shoulder. "He will be okay, i promise." No first responder ever says those words, but Cap just did and Bucks face went from pure terror to hopeful in a matter of seconds.

They put out the fire, Eddie was taken to the hospital to get checked, there were no deaths in the fire and everyone has gotten the all clear at the hospital.
Eddie wakes up in the hospital, Buck is by his side.
"What.... what happened?" Eddie says softly. Bucks head shoots up.
"Um, there was a flashpoint as we were leaving the house and you got knocked out from hitting the ground." Buck says, with a sadness in his voice, because this is not the first time a member of the 118 was in the hospital.
"Oh," Eddie pauses, "Have you spoken with Christopher yet?" The fire was late at night, and Eddie woke up around 2 am.
"Not yet, I texted Carla, but I will call first thing." Eddie smiles. The rest of the 118 walks in.
"Eddie, you're awake" Chimney says.
"How are you feeling?" Hen asks.
"Um, sore, but nothing some sleep can fix." Eddie replies.
The 118 talks with Eddie for a while and then they head out. Buck stays behind.

"Have you guys noticed something different about those two?"Chimney says.
"My gaydar is going off the charts." Hen responds.
"Gaydar?" Cap says.
"It's when you are able to tell if someone is apart of the LGBTQ+ community." Hen replies.
"Oh, well than yes, me and Athena have both noticed." Chimney looks confused.
"You guys both noticed?" He says.
"Yes." Cap and Hen say at the same time.

Eddie is cleared from the hospital and Buck takes him back home. Chris is about to wake up.
"Welcome home Eddie." Carla says. "Hey, Buck."
"Don't tell Chris." Buck looks at Eddie confused.
"But?"
"I know what I said last night."
"Fine." Buck says.
"Thank you so much Carla," Eddie gives her a hug, "I bet you cannot wait to get home."
"You got that right. And of course! Christopher is a saint." She heads out the door.
"Eddie sit down, you are in pain." Buck says.
Chris walks out of his room.
"Hey buddy." Eddie says hugging him. "This is my friend, Buck."
"Hi, Chris." Buck waves.
"Hi, Buck?" Chris says.
"It is short for Buckley, my last name." Buck replies.
"What is for breakfast." Chris says.
"Well since it is Sunday, what would you like?" Eddie says.
"Waffles!"
"Waffles, it is," Eddie looks at Buck, "Would you like to stay?" Eddie says.
"Yea sure, if it is alright with Chris?"
"Yea, Buck do you play video games?"
"Do I.... Of course I do, which games do you have?"
Eddie heads to the kitchen, and Buck and Chris go to his room to find a game to play while breakfast is being made.

After breakfast, Buck leaves.
"Is he my new parent?" Christopher says.
"Why do you ask that?" Eddie replies.
"Well, you look at him the way you looked at mom." Eddies face gets red.
"Umm, I am not sure yet. How do you like him."
"He's great, but he is not that good at Call of Duty." Chris says with a laugh.
"Well that is good to hear, umm, well, he might be around more." Eddie says.
