Rooster wizard

We entered the island and most of its buildings looked like coral and right in the middle was a giant rooster looking building and everywhere was infested with palm trees and sand "la,la,la-" "I'm so sorry,I'm so sorry, let me help you" Maya insisted and help up a wizard with a missing leg and a single wooden crutch,he had an odd hair style but I guess it's just an odd fashion choice for a wizard "gracias, gracias,nína lindà" he slowly limped away as I just started to suspect something was up about this wizard but I shrugged it off "oh,I'm so sorry, uh do you know where I can find the wizard council,by any chance?" Maya asked and I could see the smile on the wizards face as he stopped,he turned to her "yeah,but it's a secret to the non wizards and witches" he held out his hand and gestured to give him gold "oh,I get it,I get it" Maya flipped him over a coin and he caught it and inspected it in the sun light.he then pointed his crutch to the other direction to the giant rooster building "ta-da! Welcome to the luna wizard council!" And then I heard a faint rooster crowing in the distance "what,you mean I'm already here?" She asked outraged "you hustler! I have no time for this!" She spat and pushed him away "c'mon brighteyes!" She hissed and stomped away, I followed as a glared at the wizard who was getting worried,we walked up a set of sandy textured stairs but before we could enter if Maya stopped me "brighteyes you can't come with me on this one" she said "what why not,is it because of my looks? or something else" I put my claws on my hips raising an eye brow "no-yes,and I don't think the grand bruha will come if she knows your a bat headed thing that looks like death" she said and went in without me and I just shook my head in annoyance and made a portal leading to the underworld to scope out the place,I landed on a nearby piller and I slowly peeked my head out and saw all sorts of gods down there but suprisingly a few caught my attention,a married couple,a golden toucan,and the bat boy's.i glanced at them from the shadows for a few more seconds before I caught the general glaring at me intencely,I tilted my head at him and left,I landed on a pile of sandy ashes and saw Maya and the one legged wizard with sad faces glancing at the place "did I miss anything?" I asked still disguising my voice "where were you?! I thought you bailed" Maya said crossed her arms while the wizard looked at me puzzled "no,I just had to go somewhere that's all" I said and all of the sudden the wizards crunch turned into a staff-claw thing,sorry I don't know what to identify it as and jumped into mayas arms as the wizard fell over "a fake missing leg?!" Maya spat and I just shook my head at him "my leg! Oh my leg,it-it grew back! Its-its miracle! Oh my praise the leg gods!" He said and kissed his leg "the left and the right,oh my gods,look at this.there even and everything" he said and swooped over to Maya as the staff crawled to his side,I just looked at him in disgust at the fact he did this to get money,what a scammer. "Ugh you and the gran bruja set me up! Unbelievable!" She and slowly followed behind her man is she an Aries or something? I asked to myself mentally.
And we entered the rooster building that had a sea theme to it for a wizards liking but for me I prefer more of a dragon core aesthetic "ha ha ha! Very funny Gran Bruja,you sent me on a wild goose chase" she jumped to the front of the room and there were several empty thrones and a big tapestry that had an old looking man holding the wooden staff the wizard has "Gran Bruja? Were did everybody go?" Maya asked in confusion looking at the empty thrones and I heard multiple voices echoing in my head "Maya I think there still here" I said but she ignored my comment and scoffed then the wizard from before walked up to Maya  "I'll show you.let me make it up to you" "ugh it's you again look,I'm not giving you anymore gold" she spat, his staff started to sprinkle some golden dust in his hand and he blew it in mayas face and I just slowly pulled out my sythe-dagurs in case anything happens "hay what was that!?" "You'll see" he said and then I felt a slight pain in my tail building up to my head and I slightly hissed at the pain no not now you visions my head roared and then I saw Acat getting killed,me,Maya,chàpa,and the wizard fighting two gods,and......me getting stabbed by ein as the gods watched with awed faces then everything was all a blur for a few seconds before my vision became clear I looked up and saw the wizard in a completely outfit and hair "I will join your quest,eagle warrior" he said making a cheesy grin "oh.you can call me Maya and that is brighteyes" she said and pointed at me while I just scoffed "I'm R-Rico,and this is my staff Estefan" he jestured and the staff shook mayas hand "nice to meet you both,well were sure gonna need more help,and I know just who to help us" Maya said and I eye rolled in annoyance figuring out who she was talking about.
