chapter 4:Ein and pierce

We finally made it up the mountain,the fog was thick as it loomed around us as I looked around I heard someone call my name from a far distance I turned to look behind me and ran for it hearing Maya yell my name "Brighteyes!" I ran for the edge and dived down into the fog as it clouded my vision I then glided down the cold wind flowing though my face, I spiraled into a nearby pine tree on the other side of the mountain,it bent as I leaned forward and saw a big beam of light in the very middle of the forest and heard a very familiar laugh as it echoed through the trees,I jumped down and landed with a soft thud on a soft moss bank,I ran off into the undergrowth as the suns raise was covered my the long leaves of pine,the fog thickened as I stopped in my tracks and saw Ein laughing madly along with another blue idiot who I knew was pierce he was obsessed with mutton and light blue,and he believed he was the most superior blue,but in this case comparing the two they were just the same person but with one difference,Ein liked,no,he loved gold and pierce loved sheep. I scoffed as they laughed thier butts off nearly falling over on the ground,Ein snapped his fingers and two of his guards appeared from behind him "go fetch the prisoners it's time for thier excution" he cackled,the guards nodded and left his side and brought back a large,iron,cage embedded with gold nuggets and in there I saw the love birds,bat boys and the golden toucan, I gasped in surprise all my other thoughts turning into nothing but screams and shouts as I saw small memories flash before my eyes,I staggered back and held my head and took deep,steady breaths trying to calm myself the fog getting in my lungs making me cough I leaned on a nearby tree and looked back at the sight before me,Ein and pierce laughed again and leaned on each other before they fell,"pierce as my second in command you get to choose which one gets to go first" Ein said a smirk covering his face,pierces face lit up "oh really,ok,ok,ok,I pick the weakest one" he said in excitement and pointed at Zatz,the gods gasped in shock and turned to look at Zatz who had a fearful look on his face as he looked down.I shook my head frantically thinking it was some dream but it was all real my tail lashed and my claws dug into the rocky ground and my teeth beared,I clenched my blades toughly and got in a sprinting position,blades in my claws/hands and charged at the guards,the gods saw me and gasped in shock and fear at my dark figure "Ein and pierce!" I spat making my voice deeper than usual,the two turned towards me and anger took over thier faces as I took down one of their guards "Reaper! I thought you were dead!" Ein spat and shook his nearest guard in outrage "yeah your supposed to be dead!" Pierce shouted stomping on the ground in anger and threw the nearest stick at one of the guards,I roared and slashed thier guards to dust with ease and snapped almost,all of their arms,legs,or hands into large fractures making them all scream in pain as they fell on the ground I blasted my venom at the two but they blocked it with a guard standing nearby,I hissed and turned my attention to the gods in the cage,they all tensed up and went to the end of the cage as I walked forward,I looked down at the lock and lifted my claw and turned it though the hard lock as it clicked,I looked back up at the nervous gods and opened the cage door slowly and took a few steps back putting my blades back in thier pockets,the gods gave me confused looked before walking out of the cage "what are you waiting for,charge!" Ein screamed and charged towards me before falling to the ground,pierce ran over to help but fell over to with a yelp I shook my head and looked back at the gods and they still looked a little anxious "if your thinking I'm gonna kill you the answer is no" I said in a calm voice they all exchanged looks and whispered to each other as they nodded.
No one's POV
"How do we know if we can trust him?" Capactli whispered "I don't know but if he fought them for us I think he might be here to help us" Zatz piped up "I'd rather deal with him then lord mictlan" vacub said lightly looking over to his left "I don't think that's a risk to take,but we're running out of options,it's rather him or mictlan" carmazotz said looking over to his son "I think we should trust him" Zatz said turning to the other three,they gave each other worried looks before finally agreeing.
Brighteyes POV
I watched at they continued to whisper then they turned back to me "so,what's your name?" Zatz asked shyly I tilted my head at him and slightly giggled "call me segadore" I said hiding my tail under my cloak "well segadore,we need your help in defeating lord mictlan and we hope someone with skills like yours can help us" zatz said holding out his hand "so what do you say?" I looked at his hand for a few seconds before finally stepping forward and took his hand "I accept".
