I turned over, having a beaming headache. I sat up and groaned, rubbing my forehead. When my eyes adjusted, I took in my surroundings, I was not even home. I stood up from the couch and went discovering on where I was at. I looked around the corner and seen it was a kitchen. I walked in the kitchen looking for some kind of identification, but found nothing. I pushed my hair from out of my face walking out the kitchen when I bumped into something. I looked up and nearly screamed, it wasn't something, it was someone. I held my chest scared as hell, when I only realized it was Tavaris.
"Aye mama, chill It's just me." I slapped my hand against my side.
"I know that." He shook his head.
"Right." I scratched my head.
"What am I doing here?" He chuckled while pouring him a glass of orange juice.
"You don't remember?" I frowned.
"What you mean?" My eyes widened. "We did something last night?!" He nearly dropped his glass.
"Hell nah." I lifted my eyebrow.
"I ain't that type of nigga, you heard?" I nodded.
"Alright. Well what happened then?"
"Well, I went to the bar last night. I seen you, we had a conversation. You got drunk as hell, and I took you home." I nodded my head looking out his window.
"So how in the hell my car here?" I turned around crossing my arms.
"About that, I made you drive here so you wouldn't have to go back to the bar and get your car." He said while scratching his head.
"Smooth move, if I could drive here, what makes you think I couldn't drive myself home?" I said while sitting on the counter.
"I knew you would ask that. See my house was closer, yours was farther. So with that being said, I ain't want you in any accidents." He smiled.
Damn, he had a cute ass smile. He walked towards me and walked in between my legs. He leaned his forehead against mines and we shared a laugh. I looked into his eyes and it got quiet , we slowly leaned towards each other. When I then realized what I was doing, I pushed him back and cleared my throat.
"My bad." He said.
"It's fine." It got extremely quiet.
"Sooo.." I said.
"You hungry?" He said while walking from in between my legs, going towards the refrigerator opening the door.
"I mean, I could eat." He pulled out a carton of eggs. He set them on the counter and bent over to get the skillet out of the cabinet. I took in his appearance, his dreads, tattoos. He was a fine man.
"So, to kill the silence. How old are you?" I bit my lip.
"19." He said putting the skillet on the stove. I nodded.
"What about you?"
"20." He nodded. While I sat on the counter swinging my feet, my phone started to ring.
"Could you get that for me?" He walked into the living room and grabbed my phone, coming back in the kitchen giving it to me. I didn't even have to look at the unsaved number twice, knowing it was Trenton. I bit my lip and answered,
"Hel-"
"Where the fuck you at Delilah?!" I frowned.
"You really taking it to far with this disrespect shit." He laughed.
"Get yo ass home now Lila before shit get real, imma be waiting." I heard three dial tones and I sighed and hung up.
"Everything alright?" I nodded.
"Yeah, I just have to go. Thanks for letting me stay here though." He smirked.
"No problem, let me go get your clothes so that nigga don't be suspecting shit." He left out the kitchen and a few minutes came back with my clothes. I went in the bathroom, peeling off his clothes.
"Where do you want me to leave your clothes at?" I yelled while pulling up my pants.
"Just leave them in there." I left his clothes folded on the counter and walked out. I went and grabbed my keys and put on my shoes while grabbing my phone and purse. While putting my purse up on my shoulders, Tavaris came and leaned against the wall.
"Why you let that man treat you like that?" I was taken aback by his question.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He chuckled.
"Alright, well can I at least have your number?" I thought about and stuck my hand out. He went in his pocket and pulled out his phone, I put myself up under Delilah P. and gave it back to him.
"Thanks." I nodded and headed out the door. Walking down the sidewalk, into the driveway I climbed in my car.
"Expect a call tonight Delilah." I smirked.
"Okay Tavaris." He smiled brightly as I pulled out his driveway.

I got up out of Nia's bed and went downstairs. Yeah, I had came over like I said last night. I got out some eggs, bacon, and bread. I started cooking while putting the bread in the toaster. About a good 20 to 30 minutes, I was done. I grabbed a plate, putting everything on there.
I went in the cabinet getting a glass cup setting it on the counter. I went in the fridge and got the orange juice, twisting the top off, pouring some in the glass. I put the top back on and put it back in the fridge. I grabbed the glass and plate, heading back upstairs.
I went in the room, seeing her sprawled out across the bed. I chuckled to myself, setting the stuff down on her side table. I climbed in bed and started messing with her face, kissing her all over. She woke up and looked at me smiling.
"Good morning sunshine." I smiled.
"Good morning Willie." I made you breakfast I said tilting my head towards the side table. She smiled,
"Awww, you didn't have to." I looked her in her eyes.
"Every queen deserves at least something." She pushed her hair behind her eyes and smiled.
"Go on and eat na'."
"Can we just lay here a bit?" She said while snuggling up against me.
"Yeah." I said while pecking her lips a couple of times. I rubbed my hand through her hair and stared up at the ceiling. We're not even together yet and I'm doing all this. We've been talking for a good while now, I just dont want to move to fast. I'll ask her when the times right. I kissed the top of her head, rubbing my thumb up and down her shoulder and shut my eyes and sighed.
