Tavaris Braxton

"Did you ask her about it?" Willie asked me.

"Na I didn't, we were on the phone last night just vibing."

The conversation of last night replayed in my mind.

"Why you so quiet? Talk to me." I said to her. I heard rustling over the phone until she spoke,

"Just thinking." I nodded.

"Oh, can you do something for me?"

"Yeah what is it?"

"Sing for me, I smirked." She chuckled,

"Really?"

"Yeah, come on now."

She cleared her throat and began singing Treat Me Like Somebody by Tink.

"Somebody real is hard to find

Somebody worth all your time

Somebody who can tell you the truth

Someone who loves you for you

Someone who knows all of your flaws and Doesn't impose try to control they

Let you be free doesn't decieve

They give you a chance to believe

Believe in something

Is that to much

Cause I've been on a search and I'm losing my hope" I nodded my head as she sung.

When she finished I applauded, earning a warming chuckle from her.

"You sounded sexy girl, need to sing for me more often."

"Yeah, I'll think about it." I smirked.

"Tavaris." I cleared my throat,

"Yeah?"

"What you over there thinking about buddy?" He chuckled.

"Nothing man, nothing. Stop playing." I laughed.

Then I let the alpine play

Bumpin' new shit by nwa

It was gangsta gangsta at the top of the list

Then I played my own shit, it went somethin' like this :

Cruisin' down the street in my '64

Jockin' the bitches, slappin' the ho's

Went to the park to get the scoop

Knuckle-heads out there cold shootin' some hoops

I took a long inhale of my blunt, bobbing my head to Eazy-E. This was my nigga right here, his shit be bumping.

Right now I was headed to some girl house I met a couple weeks ago. I just couldn't remember her name though.

I pulled up in her driveway, taking my key out the ignition and climbing out the car. I shut the door and walked up the stoned pathway.

I took another inhale of my blunt and knocked on her door, before exhaling out the smoke. Once I heard the locks click, I took a step back.

She opened the door and smiled.
