I walked in first, and seeing my surroundings.., well let's just say I was awestruck. Samuel came in after me saying,"This place is.. it isn't a cave, it's like a.." "A secret hideout?" I grinned. "Yeah." He replied.
As we continued looking around I went a bit farther in. I'm not sure if this was a good or bad idea. Even now..
*Step* *Step* *..Step* *..Step…* …
"Oh.. whoa… How..?.." I whispered to myself, surprised. I continued walking towards what seemed like it was impossible to even be real.
*Step..* *Step…* I reached my hand out to touch the black item. It was almost like an amethyst shard. A black colored amethyst. Around the amethyst shard was a weird purple symbol. I didn't think much of it though.
My wings unfolded more, also fluffing up in a defensive way. "Kima..?" Samuel walked over, seeing me reaching out to the thing and he yelled, "KIMA DON'T-"
I stopped, I was so close.. So close…. I couldn't think.. I couldn't speak… I almost couldn't stop….
I turned ever so slightly, my head slightly facing Samuel so I could barely look at him. I stared at him for a second. Then looking back, and clenching my fist.
Upon lowering my wings, I made a quiet noise. Almost like a wine for help.
"Kima… don-don't touch that.. We don't know what could happen.., so just.." He paused. "Step away.. OK?"
I stood still, as did Samuel. "I-I….. c-can't.." That was about all I could make out.
I unclenched my fist, and proceeded to grab the amethyst.
