Lounging around in his shared room after his first day at the school, Kyungsoo decided it was time to get to know his roommate.

He glanced over at the other boy in the room to find him drying his jet black hair with a towel. He was surprised but relieved when Jackson spoke first.

'So how was your first day at the school, Kyungsoo?' he asked casually.

'Great, actually!' the wide eyed boy replied enthusiastically. 'But I kind of accidentally ditched second period.'

Jackson laughed as his eyebrows shot up in surprise. 'What? How come? What happened?'

'Kim Jongin happened,' Kyungsoo winced. He leaned over to reach the bottle of water on his bedside table.

'You know Jongin?'

'We met a few times before I even moved here. He tried to kill me twice,' Kyungsoo muttered, then added subconsciously, 'that reminds me, I need to ask him what he was doing in my village.'

'He tried to kill you?' Jackson asked sceptically.

'Well, he nearly ran me over and then his dog attacked me.'

Jackson puffed out his cheeks. 'Wow, that sure sounds like Jongin.'

'Are you two friends?' Kyungsoo asked, unscrewing the cap on his bottle and taking a sip.

'Not really. We've spoken a few times, but not enough to be considered friends,' Jackson said. 'So do you like him?'

Kyungsoo spat his water out. It sprayed across the room like a water fountain, and Jackson gave him a look that silently asked, 'was it something I said?'

'L-like him?' Kyungsoo echoed in disbelief, desperately trying to dry his bed covers which were now soaked.

'Yeah.'

'No.'

'Okay.'

Kyungsoo frowned at the sudden subject drop, but was thankful nevertheless. He returned to the book he was reading before Jackson started their conversation, only to be interrupted a few minutes later when a caramel haired boy burst into the room.

'Jackson!' he yelled, jumping onto the said boy.

'Yo!' Jackson replied, wrapping his arms tightly around the boy and pressing their lips together hungrily.

As Kyungsoo watched the two of them devour each other like they hadn't met in years, he could only assume that this was Mark Tuan.

He quickly gathered his things and bustled out of the room, leaving the two of them alone. Not that they would notice he was gone.

After leaving his room, he wandered through the corridors of the dorms, wondering where he was going to end up. He didn't exactly have a plan on where to go.

He was just strolling down a corridor on the fourth floor, when he was pulled into a nearby room with a yelp.

The culprit slammed his back against the now closed door to the room, and Kyungsoo was just about to scream for help when he recognised the face before him. His own face scrunched up in disbelief.

'Jongin?'

'Hey.'

Kyungsoo's small, newly made fist shot out and punched Jongin in the stomach. The impact forced a distraught 'oof!' out of the younger's mouth, but Kyungsoo refused to apologise yet.

'What the fuck did you do that for?' the wide eyed boy yelled. 'My heart is old and weak and you could've easily given me a heart attack.'

Jongin simply scowled at his hot headed acquaintance as he stumbled over to his bed, still clutching his stomach in pain.
