Weeks passed and nothing out of the ordinary happened. The music, drama and dance competition was fast approaching, and it would also mark the end of the last school day before the Christmas holidays.

Minseok and Luhan didn't talk about that night of the thunderstorm when they slept in the same bed, but they talked much more frequently and spent most of their time together, and Minseok finally felt as though he had his best friend back.

The two of them, along with Kyungsoo, Jongin and the majority of the rest of their friends, were concentrating on practising hard for the upcoming showcase.

Performances were all close to perfect and everyone was feeling confident about the show, but when the big day finally rolled around, everything turned hectic.

Baekhyun wailed and cried out as he flew through the main hall, where last minute practises were taking place as well as the setting up of the music equipment. The doors to the main hall would open at half past the hour for guests to begin taking their seats, so it was all hands on deck for the preparation.

Still flailing frantically, Baekhyun ran down the small steps to the stage and ploughed straight into the strong chest of his boyfriend.

'What's the matter?' Chanyeol asked, his eyes wide with worry as he stared into the smaller male's orbs.

'My eyeliner,' Baekhyun whimpered, grabbing ahold of the taller's forearms. 'I lost my eyeliner!'

Before Chanyeol could even comprehend what was going on, Baekhyun had whisked past him in the direction of the main doors, probably going to look for the eyeliner in his room. But as he disappeared out of the doors, Chanyeol caught sight of a thin, black tube of eyeliner sticking out of the smaller's back pocket.

Chuckling and shaking his head in amusement, the elf-like male turned back and headed over to Kyungsoo. 'How's it going?'

'It's going,' Kyungsoo said, finishing setting up a microphone and straightening his back. He looked around at the other department students heaving things on stage and connecting equipment to the sound systems. 'I think there's only one more load before we're pretty much done and ready to go.'

'That's good, then,' Chanyeol nodded, looking around also. 'Anything I can help with?'

The smaller crinkled his nose and shook his head. 'Nah, I think they've got it.'

'Should we go find Jongin and the others, then?'

Nodding, Kyungsoo set off walking to the backstage rooms beside Chanyeol. They passed several students in the corridors, some practising breathing techniques whilst others did the exact opposite - ran around after hair products, makeup and other things of the sort.

Vividly recalling Jongin saying 'Dressing Room 3', Kyungsoo led the way to the said room and knocked on the door once they had found it.

A faint 'come in' sounded from inside, and Kyungsoo pushed open the door.

He expected to first lay eyes upon his gorgeous tanned boyfriend, who would be sitting at his dressing table whilst a makeup artist daintily painted his features. Instead, Kyungsoo was met with the sight of an almost naked Sehun, standing only in his boxers as he scrolled through his phone.

Kyungsoo yelped and looked away, seeking a more pleasing image. When he found Jongin, he looked exactly as the smaller had imagined, except the makeup artist happened to be Kris.

'Why is he doing your makeup?' Kyungsoo asked with an accusing tone.

When Jongin twirled around in his chair, the older gulped. The perfect black lining and pink-purple shadow that rimmed Jongin's eyes were breathtaking, and Kyungsoo suddenly felt as though all of the air had been knocked out of him. But the cheesy grin that the younger flashed him contradicted the makeup completely.
