The Things He'd Do To Keep Her Happy

for the umpteenth time now. It was early in the morning and Jungkook happened to spend the night. He got out of bed around the same time as me but I've yawned a noticeably amount of times.

"Huh?" I ask. "No, nothing..." I stare back asquinting my eyes his way too.

"You know nothing, right?" I ask. He just nods his head. "But...hyung...this is your 15th yawn in the last 30 minutes." Has he seriously been keeping count?

"I couldn't leave my baby by herself." Was all I said, trying to defend myself only to mess myself up in the process.

"Your baby...?" Jungkook repeated. I scratch my head, responding shortly after. "Lisa."

He smirked, waggling his eyebrows up and down. "So 'baby' is Lisa then?" He chuckled as I nodded.

「 earlier last night 」

Right as I felt my eyes fall, I woke up from the sound of my phone going off. It was Lisa?

are you awake?

Is what she had sent. I grabbed my phone, and the brightness had me squinting my eyes at my phone light.

Yeah, is everything okay?!

I quickly type.

No. I can't sleep.

I kissed Yeontan on the head before bidding goodbye.

I exited from my bed, grabbing my phone, putting on some slippers, and a jacket before going outside to the car.

I texted Lisa when I could as I drove down the empty streets. It took about half an hour to reach her but I finally did. I take out my keys and open up the front door before closing it very quietly.

I wish you were here. I miss you 😭

Is the next thing I saw. I smiled before turning the door to her bedroom open. She jumped and look at me only to look even more surprised.

But I lay beside her, not saying a word and wrap my arms around her. "Taehyung- you really drove 30 minutes to see me at 3am?!"

"Mmhm, you said you couldn't sleep."
