Epilogue of 'Wasting Her Life On Love'

"𝗗𝗢 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗬 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘, 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗔?"
Jennie exclaimed with sadness as she sat on the edge of her brother's bed. Her best-friend sat against the headboard of the bed, unsure of the name of the person sitting before her.

Lisa just pursed her lip's disappointedly. "I'm really sorry. I don't remember your name at all, but I can remember your face from within the past. However, who...are you?"

Upon hearing those words, tears swelled within Jennie's eyes as she couldn't stand the fact that the person she spent the most time with couldn't even remember who she was to her. Jennie bent her head low as a single tear of sadness ran down her cheek, then another. Soon she couldn't find the strength to stay in the same room as her best friend. Jennie quickly left the room.

As Taehyung saw his sister barge out the door with her hands covering her red and swollen eyes, he knew at that point that Lisa's loss of memory was indeed true. He got up from leaning against the wall with a big inhale of a breath, he had to prepare himself before walking through his bedroom door.

Immediately as soon as he did, Lisa felt a wave of déjà vu. Her heart rate increased dramatically, and just like before did her eyes sparkle with the defined face male reflecting from off her pupils. Suddenly her throat went dry and she couldn't seem to form words from in her mouth.

"Lisa?"

His voice was husk and deep, and almost instantly did Lisa sit up properly upon seeing such a perfectly sculptured face. Taehyung sat against the edge of his bed, a small smile pulling through.

"How are you?" He asked, his eyes looking straight into her own. As Lisa remained eye contact with Taehyung, she noticed how sickly his eyes looked. He looked worried, extremely worried. She asked herself if he meant anything special to herself.

Taehyung sneezed into his arm. "Are you sick?" She asked, raising her hand without thought to touch his heated forehead. She immediately felt a surge of worry in her body when she felt how high his temperature was against the back of her hand. "Are you taking care of yourself!? Why do you seem so sick?" She asked. Lisa couldn't seem to remember this man in front of her, but she felt the need to care and be kind to him.

"Mm, I've been worried about you all these past couple of weeks. I'm sorry, Lisa. I wish I could've told you this before this happened, I wish I could've changed myself in the past. I was a terrible person to you, but you continued to remain kind to me and treat me like I was the only thing left in your small and deserted world. I'm sorry I couldn't be there to love you back you needed me most. I'm so sorry..." Taehyung gradually bent his head low as his bit his lips from the anger of how he was to her in the past. All he feels is guilt within him as he continued apologizing under his breath.

"It's okay. I'm sure I love you for a reason, I know you couldn't be as bad of a person as you claim yourself to be." Lisa smiled, and her heart seemed to try pounding out her chest when she felt Taehyung squeeze her slim hand tightly.

His heart ached when Lisa used present words instead of past ones. Even though she has lost some of her memory, she still continued to say that she loves him and not use the word 'loved him' instead.

He exhaled greatly, bringing the palm of her hand up so he could plant a soft kiss. "I promise you, I'll change the way I act. The Kim Taehyung your past self knew is now different. I'll be the person who you can rely on to be there when you need it most." He smiled, rubbing her soft palm with his large yet slender thumb. Lisa blushed.

"Can you remember taking any of these photos?"

Taehyung sat beside her on their couch as he handed the mini notebook that he kept on him within all times. Lisa looked through it thoroughly, however she couldn't seem to remember taking pictures dated from one moth ago, the ones before were the only ones she could remember.

Lisa shook her head as she placed back on the ice pack for his aching headache. Her eyes seemed to shimmer once again as her pupils stare deeply into his. She's asked herself how she could ever find anyone as good looking as the man she admired most in front of her.

Have they kissed yet? Lisa was wondering that question over and over again, that was all she ever thought about when she saw him so up close. "I don't remember any of the photos dated to be within this month. But why are the last two pages ripped off?" She asked with anticipation.

Taehyung bit his lips with more guilt. "I couldn't stand imagining you seeing them again. It would only remind you of how much of an asshole I was. I want you to love me for the way I am now, not before." He sulked.

She shook her head with reassurance. "If I loved you then, I will continue to love the past you and now present you." She smiled. Then her pupils dilated when Taehyung brushed his nose against her own softly.

"You've always been too kind for me, Lisa. I can't ever pay you back for that, all I can do is be the best I can be for you. Then slowly you'll start to find your reason for loving me, because the day I first looked through this notebook, I found mine." He smiled back, only after pulling away from her face.

She couldn't help but frown. She can't remember the last time she kissed anyone, but she doesn't need to remember to understand how much she wanted to at this moment. All Lisa could look at was his lips.

Taehyung noticed her stare, however he didn't feel a sense of confidence to say that he was the right one for her yet. He still believed he needed to work on himself just a little more before anything big happens between them.

However, Lisa thought of the complete opposite. In her eyes, Taehyung was perfect. No matter what he did, he seemed to remain perfect to her. He was caring and exceptionally empathetic towards her. She couldn't even start to believe that he was rude to her, even by just a little.

"Please don't back away, Taehyung." She muttered as she came close to his face again. He could feel her words up against his lips, they were less than inches apart.

Taehyung swallowed hard. Should he kiss her? Even after everything he's done to her? He was beyond nervous, hence why his breath was exceptionally rigorous. "Would you still say that if you remember who I was?"

Lisa smiled before giggling. "Taehyung, I already have. The minute our noses brushed, I felt a sense of emotions that I feel as if I've experienced before. That alone tells me that I've loved you to this extent even in the past, despite that you could be the person you proclaimed yourself to be. So please, can you be quiet and kiss me."

As Taehyung opened his mouth to respond, Lisa didn't allow him a chance to ever do that. She immediately placed her plump lips on top of his, and almost as soon as their lips touched she felt the endearment throughout their shared kiss.
