One day before

"𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗔, 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗢 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗗𝗔𝗬?"
All of my members ask me as we sit around the couch. I rubbed my chin, thinking about my response. However, in a short amount of time I got my answer. I couldn't say it though, I wouldn't want to hurt their feelings.

"Nothing." I humbly respond. But when I see the look on their faces I bursted out laughing. They definitely could tell I was lying.

"Don't try to hide what you're really thinking. You won't hurt us with whatever you say." Jennie laughed.

I groan before sighing. "What I really, really, REALLY want is to spend time with Taehyung and my parents." I say.

I haven't seen neither of them face to face in almost a year.

They all smirk, rubbing their chins. Should I be concerned? "Taehyung?" Jisoo waggles her eyebrows.

I feel a blush coming in already. "Taehyung? Your boyfriend Taehyung?" Jennie joins in, waggling her eyebrows as well and emphasizing on the word boyfriend.

I look away feeling slightly embarrassed. "The person who you said you want to have kids with in the future?" Not Chaeyoung too! I was screaming internally as they teased me.

"You guys always tease me..." I say. They all laugh together and quickly walk away in a group.

March 27, 2023 - concert

I wasn't able to make any official plan to see neither Taehyung nor my parents. It got me a bit down but being with blinks like this always cheered me up.

I waved to some of the ones I saw with my eyes and they smiled back. I went over to sit on the edge of the stage with the rest of my members during our sound check process.

"We'll be right back."

A voice behind me made me turn around, it was Chaeyoung with Jennie and Jisoo unnie standing behind her.

"Wait, what's going on?" I ask, confused on why all three of them have to leave.

"They called us backstage, it won't take long. Just entertain Blinks while we're here." Jennie whispered in my ear.

I nodded and then I saw all of my members get up to leave me by my side.

I watch them before looking around the arena.

A couple minutes later and I hear music play. A hand came on my shoulder, I looked behind. It was Chaeyoung yet again, she smiled. "C'mon, they're asking for you backstage. Jisoo and Jennie will stay behind."

As our song 'Stay' rang through the arena and I walked backstage, I realized how deserted it was behind the scenes.

Usually there'll be at least managers waiting out in the backstage area, but no. There was nobody but me and Chaeyoung.

Hearing all the lyrics before me, I couldn't help but let myself feel more upset. I was already missing Taehyung, and now I am even more while listening to a song that makes me think of him.

Chaeyoung's smiled never faded as she lead me through a door.

When she opened it for me, the room was dark, but when I asked Chae a question she didn't answer, I realized she was no longer beside me.

And suddenly a manly voice ran through the room. "Turn on the lights so I can see your face."His voice was so deep and instantly i knew who it was. I missed hearing his voice this close like this.

I turn on the lights like he asked of me to, and I saw him stand tall in front of my body.

"Tae?" I smiled, a tear building up in my eyes. He was matching with my outfit and was smiling at me with expressions.

Taehyung grabbed my hands as he continued to sing to me from close up of the loud sound echoing in the background.

His voice harmonized with my own in the song. But, I couldn't help but stare into his eyes since i haven't seen him in way too long for my standards.

He continued to sing the rest of the song and when it ended, I hugged him tightly. Not letting him out of my embrace for the whole three minutes.
