Just like Lisa had done a minute ago, just like Lisa had done an hour ago, she looked at each person that came in when she heard the doorbell to the bakery she was currently working at go off.

Her close friend Chaeyoung had started to notice this pattern throughout the day, every since they first clocked in together. Chaeyoung was starting to wonder what happened when her allergies affected her enough to not be able to go to work. Was she waiting for someone? Had Lisa met someone?

Chaeyoung noticed how Lisa's eyes were never still, she seemed to be looking for a specific person, and no matter how many came in, she continued to scan the room.

"Lisa, are you waiting for someone?" Her best friend asked. However, Lisa wasn't paying attention to Chaeyoung right now, she didn't hear a single word Chaeyoung had said to her. "Lisa?" She called again.

This time Lisa looked her way, realizing that she was right beside her instead of making more drinks for customers. Lisa sighed, "Sorry, I didn't realize you were calling me Chaeyoung." She said, her face in utter sadness. She was starting to believe Taehyung only came to the bakery everyday just for that one-night hookup yesterday before leaving her behind.

Her best friend noticed her frown. "What's wrong? I've noticed you looking around a lot, have you met someone while I was gone?" Chaeyoung asked, scanning the room herself to find anybody staring back at Lisa. However no one was doing that. "Wait, are you searching for that same guy who you always fawn over?"

Lisa nodded. "Yeah, it's past 9:30 and he still hasn't come yet. The bakery closes in less than 2 hours, Chaeyoung." She was noticeably upset and her eyes had a sense of guilt. Her thoughts were getting the best of her and if this continues her sadness will eventually turn into anger.

"Well, did you at least get his name?" Chaeyoung was a little confused as to why Lisa was much more upset than she expected her to be. She was really starting to wonder if the two started a relationship.

"His name is Kim Taehyung and we had sex, Chaeyoung. Although I'm starting to think I've been played for just his own need of pleasure." Lisa admitted quietly as there were still some—but not very many—people left in the building.

Chaeyoung's eyes widened. "Okay, that wasn't something I expected you to say. Well he's an asshole, how could anybody do that to someone?" She scoffed, feeling empathy for her closest friend she was feeling frustrated herself.

Lisa just shrugged, resting against the edge of the counter. "I guess. I just really thought we had something going on, like we could really have a good relationship if we actually tried." She voiced.

11:10pm

As Lisa flipped the switch to the lights off, her anger that was once sadness grew more vile within her. She had really been played like a fool, and she was dumb enough to fall for it.

As she scoffed and exited the building from out back, she saw a tall man leaning against the building. Lisa's built up frustration made her voice rigid and unpleasant, something you wouldn't want to be around. "Excuse me but loitering isn't tolerated here sir, the bakery closed and I don't plan on opening it back up again for anyone else."

"Really? I've been standing here for that reason; I wanted everyone else gone so it was just you and I." The man said, getting up from the wall and slowly walking out of the shadows. "Do you really not remember my voice?" He asked, seeing Lisa back up cautiously. "Lisa?" He called again.

Her eyebrows scrunched down as she finally awoke from her cold-attitude coma. "Taehyung?" She called, finally realizing who it was.

He stepped into the small light and smiled upon seeing her face again. "Is the bakery still closed, I was really hoping to eat something with you? And perhaps, if you can forgive me for taking so long, would you consider going to the restaurant down the street this Friday? I'd like to start off on the right foot." Taehyung was happy to see her, but yet also very shy for asking her out. He scratched the back of his neck.

Lisa gave him an admiring smile as she titled her head slightly to his shyness. "Is that a date?" She teased, laughing lightly towards the end of her words. He was unmistakably cute when he was shy, despite his eye-catching and sexy looks. "If it is, I would love to go. Until then, can I still accept that offer on the bakery. It can stay open a few more minutes if it's you, Taehyung." She smiled wider, grabbing his hands gently as she unlocked the door again.
