~Flashback 10 days before Lloyd is about to leave Darkley's with (Y/N)~
(Y/N)'s POV
Today, we were on a field trip at the zoo with Lloyd's classmates, and I often stay close to Lloyd at all times.
"(Y/N) come on" Lloyd then starts running before I floated beside him and watched some lions in their cages.
"Oh, lions" I mumbled before I looked at the big cat intently but it was only a minute.
"Come on (Y/N) I wanna see more animals in this zoom" I then heard before seeing him run off. I let out a deep sigh before I teleported near him.
"(Y/N) what is that?" He asked me in curiosity while looking at an elephant.
"That's an elephant, Lloyd," I told him.
"And what exactly does this elephant do?" Lloyd asks more questions about this animal.
"This says elephants never forget" I explained briefly while I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Really...How so?"
"They have bigger brains...at least that's what I remember last time" I was getting to the point where I had to teach him some things for him to learn more than just in Darkley's.
As time goes on, Lloyd sees an ice cream cart while his classmates were getting some but sadly, I do not have money to buy him some.
"(Y/N)...I wanted ice cream" I heard him mumble but then I suddenly had an idea while looking at one of his classmates called Gene, who is enjoying a chocolate ice cream cone.
"I think I might get you some...Lloyd" I slyly told him before I floated toward the unsuspecting kid on the bench.
The moment that I went behind Lloyd's classmate. I then yanked Gene's glasses upwards but then I narrowly catch the chocolate ice cream.
I gently put the glass near Gene before I quickly vanished, reappearing with ice cream in my hand.
"Thanks (Y/N)!" Lloyd thanked me before taking the chocolate ice from my hand.
We then sit down on a bench and I watched Lloyd enjoying his ice cream.
~A Few Minutes Later~
Lloyd finally finished his ice cream before we stand up from the bench to go somewhere else in the zoo.
"Where to, Lloyd?" I asked him,
"I wanna see the..." He trailed off because I think Lloyd does not know some animals.
"OH NO! THE LION HAS ESCAPED!" Our bonding moment was interrupted as the people's screams cut off the peaceful silence.
"Lloyd we gotta go" I exclaimed before we start to leave this area, I watch him sprint away but then a lion cut him off while floating right next to Lloyd.
"(Y/N) DO SOMETHING!" He exclaimed in fear while backing away from the lion
I then went in front of Lloyd while swirling my staff before I get into my defensive stance.
The lion growls at me but I didn't feel fear, I only feel it if Lloyd is im danger.
The beast and I were patiently waiting on who will charge first and after a whole minute of what it seems to be a staring contest.
The lion lunges at me before I narrowly dodged his deadly pounce.
I stab at the beast with my staff on its body before I see the beast fall but then it recovered shortly.
The lion charged at me but I came prepared. I vanished right as it reaches me, I reappeared behind the back of the beast and then I see it crash into a metal fence, the lion's head was now stuck in between that fence and then I let out a sigh of relief before I went to find Lloyd.
"(Y/N)!" I heard him rush towards me, hugging me right before I hugged him back in my embrace.
We pulled away, right as the zoo keepers arrived and then we left the place before we went back to Darkley's while Lloyd went to sleep after a long day.
