(Y/N)'s POV
Kai is holding on to his dear life to Riyu because he is being used as a sacrifice to free the Forbidden Five.
The battle is heated in amidst of fighting the Shadow Clan Warrior and Cinder as well.
I flew towards Kai. Right as the fire ninja loses his grip on Riyu. I managed to grab his hand tightly.
"I got you, Kai." I grabbed his hand, pulling slowly out of the orange vortex.
I could see Cinder running towards me at full speed. I gotta make a decision fast because I need to save Kai's life.
"Tell Lloyd that I love him. Goodbye. " I fling Kai out of the way, successfully saving his life. Cinder kicked me into the orange vortex.
There I was. I'm gone forever... My sacrifice was worth it in the end, and I saved Kai's life in progress.
Lloyd's POV
The battle is over, but now. He is now gone forever... (Y/N) is no longer with me now.
I cried so hard while holding my spirit guardian's staff in my hands, clutching it close to me.
"(Y/N)... I can't believe I lost you." I cried my eyes out, mourning for the person who looked after me when I was little.
Memories of (Y/N) and I flooded my mind. I wipe my tears with a green cloth.
The only thing left for me is (Y/N)'s staff in my hands. I grasped it tightly as I felt the smooth surface of the handle.
Cole pulled me into a hug. I cried in his shoulder as tears rolled down my face.
"(Y/N) saved me... He did it to save my life." I could hear Kai spoke in a sad tone.
No One's POV
'Oh no... (Y/N) is gone. I felt guilty now.' Kai thought to himself while he blamed himself now that Lloyd's spirit guardian is gone forever now.
'(Y/N)... You were a good friend to all of us. His sacrifice will be remembered, and I will always honor it.' Cole thought as he still hugged Lloyd, who is still sobbing at the loss of his parent figure who took care of him.
The ninja team, including Arin and Sora, head back to the bounty ship.
This is far from over yet because they have to stop Ras from freeing the Forbidden Five in the future encounter with the Wolf clan.
