Separated [Part 1]

(Y/N)'s POV
The merge had occurred and the team were saving civilians. I was there too along with Lloyd and the others.

This is the first time in years that I'm separate from Lloyd and the ninja team.
I woke up in an unknown territory or a forest. I could still see the sky turned red before it turned normal again.

I saw something in the distance and it raised my eyebrow, knowing that I do not know what it is

"What is that?" I muttered before I begin to fly towards the floating mountain.
I could sense something was off in here and I think I know somebody is living here.

[A few minutes later]
I continue on moving towards the floating mountain and I see several trees scatter everywhere due to The Merge.
"What happened here?" I muttered before I continue moving forward, glancing around in all directions while holding my staff.
I could hear voices from the distance and curiosity gets the best of me, making me checking it out.

I see humanoid animals, standing on two feet.

These two were a lion and the other one is a white bird or maybe an eagle perhaps?
"Laval. Rogon is missing and we have to find him" I heard the eagle and the red maned lion must be Laval.
"Worriz is missing too, Eris" I took note about the eagle's name and I'll remember their names in my mind.
"Whatever that 'Thing' on the sky might have cause the other tribe members gone missing like my uncle Lavertus" I frown upon hearing it and The merge did real serious damage in the 16 realms.
"We have to find them. Laval" I heard the eagle told the lion before they start moving to look for their missing people or animals to be precise.

Now I have to make a choice:
Show myself to them and aid them or I'll remain hidden until I know that is safe to trust them.

My goal is to get back with Lloyd and the others but for now I'll have to know what I'm dealing with, in these unknown lands with humanoid animal kingdom.
