Olivia Blake was in Gryffindor which caused her to be hated by every Slytherin, especially Draco Malfoy. There was only one person that he hated more than Olivia and that was Harry Potter. Olivia hated him right back. That stupid spoiled blonde.

She was a brunette with green eyes.

I sat in the great hall eating my breakfast when a boy walked up to me. "Olivia."

"What?" I asked, annoyed.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me." He said nervously.

I would have said yes but that always ended in disaster. For some reason everybody that asks me out and I say yes gets hurt. I haven't gone on a single date because of it.

"I know what you're gonna say, everyone always gets hurt but I won't. Just go out with me."

"Alright but you're doing it to yourself."

"Great! Hogsmeade this weekend." He walked away with a smile.

Draco glared at the boy as he walked away from Olivia. Why couldn't everyone just get the hint. He watched Olivia smile at one of her friends. He loved that smile. Olivia hated Draco. He had to pretend he hated her, that's the only way she could know that he exists.

Draco walked over to her and smirked.

"Of course Blake, don't even care about others. Everyone who goes near you ends up hurt."

"Then let's hope you also get hurt, Malfoy." She shot back.

"I'm too perfect for that."

"Really? I didn't realize that all it took to be perfect was to tell your daddy about it. My father will hear about this." Olivia mocked.

Draco had to fight a smile from spreading across his face. "Fine you win this time, Blake."

He walked away and found his favorite tree to sit in. He climbed up and laid back against a branch. He closed his eyes and began humming a tune.

"Don't mess up your pretty hair when getting down Malfoy." Draco smiled at the voice, of course nobody could see it.

"So you think my hair is pretty, huh Blake?"

"Don't flatter yourself." She walked away leaving the blonde behind.

Olivia sat down in potions and dropped her head on the table. She dozed off as she waited for the rest of the class to arrive.

"Today you will be brewing a potion with partners." Oliva looked up at Snape. "Your partner will be your desk mate."

"What if we don't have a partner?"

"Then that's unfortunate for you Miss Blake."

The door opened and someone walked in.

"Sorry professor, I fell asleep."

"Of course, come sit down next to Miss Blake. You two will be partners." Olivia groaned and hit her head on her desk.

"Are you trying to give yourself a headache?"

"No, I'm trying to give myself a concussion so I don't have to work with you." Draco laughed and sat down.

"Well since you failed, why don't we get started."

The two worked together in silence to make their potion perfect. Surprisingly they worked good together.

"Excellent Mr. Malfoy. Full marks to both of you."

"MisTeR MaLfoY." Olivia copied, annoyed, causing Draco to laugh.

"10 points from Gryffindor for that remark Blake."

Snape walked over to Harry's cauldron.

"Is that barbecue sauce, Potter?"

"Yup." He responded.

"Why?"

"Because I'm gonna fail either way so why not have chicken nuggets?" The class ended before Snape could say anything.

"Stupid Potter." Draco mumbled and Olivia smiled.

She ran over to Harry. "That was awesome Harry!" She high fived him and walked away. Draco watched her sadly. Why don't they get along? Why had she hated him anyways?
