"Olivia, how are things going?" Her dad asked when he saw her get off the train.

"With my life or the curse? Stupid question, they're both going horribly."

"Why? What's going on? First tell me about your life."

"Can I just get a hug and we can talk about it at home?"

"Come here." Her dad hugged her tight and she just let all of her problems slip out of her mind.

Draco watched Olivia hug her dad. She looked about ready to cry.

"Alright let's go home. We can talk when we're there."

After they got home they went up to Olivia's room.

"Okay what's going on?"

"I hate this curse. I think I really like someone but of course I had to reject them so that they don't get hurt."

"Why don't you just explain the situation?"

"He already knows about the curse, just not exactly what it is. He already doesn't trust me. I accidentally hurt him."

"Physically or emotionally?"

"Emotionally. Why can't I do anything right?"

"Don't think like that. You're doing amazing."

"We just have to break this curse and everything will be better."

"Take your time. Do you know how?"

"I think so. But we have to go somewhere."

"We can go in an hour."

"Okay."

Olivia wrote Draco a quick letter telling him to bring his dad to the park she would be going to. She also said to meet her there before he brought his dad so that they could come up with a plan.

Draco read Olivia's letter and went to the park. After waiting ten minutes she got there.

"Okay, we'll just happen to run into each other. We'll try to make it so that they talk to each other."

"Okay. Why couldn't you just write that over a letter?"

"I wanted to see you before." Olivia bit her lip.

"Okay we need to talk. You're confusing me. One minute you seem like you probably like me and the next you're running away."

"I- well it's complicated."

"After we're done with this dad business we are going to talk and no more 'it's complicated.'"

"Okay."

They both got their dads and brought them to the park.

"What are they doing here?" Olivia's dad asked.

"They're here to help break the curse."

"You know how to break the curse?" Draco's dad asked.

"I think so."

"I'd rather live with the curse for the rest of my life than work with him. We can't trust him." Mr. Blake said.

"Dad, you could give him another chance. He's tried breaking the curse."

"No, absolutely not. He chose the wrong side. I tried to save him, but he refused."

"Well time for plan b." Draco mumbled.

A giant bird swooped in and grabbed the two kids.

"Olivia!"

"Draco, protect her."

"I have to save her."

"Andrew, we'll get them back."

"Don't call me that!"

"Your name?"

"You lost the right."

The two walked through a forest trying to find a way to get to the bird's nest. They didn't even know if they were going the right way.

"You know she is exactly like you." Lucius said.

"She's far braver and more accepting. Why'd you choose the dark side?"

"That's where all the power was. I was 17, I was afraid of the future. If I was on the more powerful side then I might survive this world. You wanted to fight the bad. If I was on the opposite side maybe I could ambush, so you wouldn't get hurt. When you confronted me I panicked. You hated me and I couldn't handle that. We fought and I was going to get cursed. My natural instinct was to hide, I regret it. I've tried fixing things, but I can't do anything right."

"How about we just work together to fix things. Like the old days. I'm sorry, I couldn't move past my grudge. I can't believe that it took my daughter getting taken away for me to realize how stupid I am."
