"Lucius, she hasn't gotten back yet." Narcissa said and Draco looked at his mum worried.
"The storm has started." He said.
"She could be lost." Draco's dad said.
"No. She'll freeze." Draco ran up to his room and grabbed his coat.
"Draco, what are you doing?"
"I have to go find her. Don't worry Mum." Draco ran out the door and towards the woods.
"You better be okay." He mumbled to himself.
The storm had gotten worse and Draco was beginning to give up hope. He had snow all over him. He saw a small hill and decided he wanted to rest. He walked up to the hill and noticed something odd. The hill was moving. It was hard to notice but it was.
Draco started wiping the snow off to find exactly what he had been looking for. He pulled Olivia out of the snow. She was unconscious, but still breathing. Draco pulled her close.
"You're freezing." He pulled his coat off and wrapped it around Olivia. "You'll be fine, I promise. Just hold on."
Draco went in search of the old lady's cottage. There was no way he would find his way back to Malfoy manor.
After walking for what felt like hours his body was numb from the cold. He could barely walk. Just as his legs were about to go out he saw the cottage. He pushed himself to go the rest of the way.
Before he got to the door it opened and he was being brought inside.
"Lay her by the fire." Draco laid her by it and collapsed next to her.

Olivia woke up to find herself laying in the cottage. She sat up and felt blankets drop off of her. She glanced down to see her in new clothes. She looked around the room and had finally noticed the sleeping blonde.
She crawled closer to him.
"Draco." She shook his arm.
"He'll probably sleep for a few more hours. I would let him."
"How did I get back here?"
"He brought you. He saved your life, nearly lost his life doing it."
"How?"
"He gave you his coat, so he walked through a blizzard without anything to keep him warm."
"Is he going to be okay?"
"Yes, I used a few spells. He should wake up in no time. The storm has moved on so you should be safe to head home as soon as he wakes up."
"Why did you cast the curse?"
"Let me tell you a story. It started with two boys, best friends. They were inseparable, where one was the other wasn't far behind. I was their teacher. I watched them grow up. They were sorted into two different houses, Gryffindor and Slytherin. Enemy houses and yet they were still best friends. One decided to take a dark path. He wanted to serve you know who. The other one wanted to fight against him. Just before the fall of you know who, the two boys fought. I stopped them and decided to curse them to try and get them to work together to mend their relationship. I went to curse the one that chose the dark and he hid behind the other. The other boy got cursed while the dark one cursed himself. He got the curse of losing the trust from his closest friend."
"My dad and Mr. Malfoy." The old lady nodded.
Olivia sat by Draco and started humming. She studied his face as he slept. He was so calm and peaceful.
Olivia stood up and went to the bathroom.
"Olivia?! Where's Olivia!? I have to find her." She could hear Draco calling.
She went back into the room. "I'm right here. It's okay." Draco ran over to her and hugged her.
"Don't ever do that again. I thought you were gonna-" his voice broke and he couldn't finish.
"I'm fine. You saved me. I should add you to my list of people Fred and George won't prank."
Draco straightened up and wiped all emotions from his face. "We should head back."
"Draco, wait. Can we talk first?"
"No. Let's go."
"I'm not leaving until you listen."
"What? You wanna talk about how you used me to win a stupid bet?"
"It was a bet at first. I never planned on us actually becoming friends. We hated each other."
"No, you hated me! I never hated you. It was all an act because that was the only way I mattered to you. The only way you would talk to me. When you decided to start over I was happy. Maybe we could be friends instead of enemies. I was proven wrong."
"Draco, it did start out as a bet, but I actually want to be friends."
"How do I know that this isn't just another bet? I'm sorry but you're going to have to prove that you want to be friends."
"How am I supposed to do that?"
"I don't know, but I hope you figure it out." Draco began leading the way back to Malfoy manor.
