Draco and Olivia hung out more and more each day. They actually seemed to be friends. Everyone was shocked to see them laugh together.

"Draco!" Olivia ran into the great hall.

"Hey Olivia."

"You'll never believe what I just got!"

"What?"

Olivia held her hand out to show him a tiny snake.

"Isn't he cute?"

"Where did you find that?"

"By the black lake."

"You should make him a home."

"Yeah. Wanna help me make one?"

"Sure."

The two went to the Slytherin common rooms together. There's no way Draco could be in the Gryffindor ones. After they had made a home for the snake they sat down.

"I'm glad we decided to get to know each other." Olivia said.

"Me too. We don't hate each other anymore. I'd even consider you a friend."

"Yeah, friends." Olivia then realized how close they were. She bit her lip. Draco noticed and licked his.

"If you had told me a week ago that we would be friends, I would've hexed you." Olivia laughed.

"Olivia?"

"Hmm?" She looked at his face and blushed at how close they were. Their noses were just inches apart.

"Why did you hate me?"

"Because of your family."

"What did they do?"

"It's a long story." Olivia couldn't think straight with his breath on her face.

"Why is she here?" The two jumped apart.

"Go away pansy." Draco grumbled.

"It's fine, I have to get going anyways."

Olivia left and Draco smacked his head. He was so close. Stupid pansy. He stood up and headed to the great hall.

"I won." Draco stopped at the sound of Olivia's voice.

"No way." He glanced around the corner to see her talking to two Weasley's.

"Yup, just barely he said we were friends."

No"I can't believe you actually convinced him."

"How did you handle being around him?"

"It wasn't that hard. I won the bet. I was nice to Draco for two weeks and he considers me a friend."

Draco froze. 'It was a bet?' There was a lump in his throat and a tear ran down his face. He quickly wiped it away and stormed past them.

"Draco?"

He walked to the bathroom and splashed water on his face. 'Of course it was fake. You idiot.'

He finally pulled himself together and walked into the great hall without showing any emotion.

"Hey Draco are you okay?"

"Leave me alone Blake." He snarled.

"What's wrong?"

"What's wrong? What's wrong is you pretending to care. What's wrong is that I actually believed you. I'm such an idiot." Draco walked away and ate his breakfast.

"Who cares, nobody likes Malfoy anyways." Cora said.

"He's not half bad. If you got to know him you would understand."

"No way! You actually believe that."

"Yes I do."

"You like him don't you?"

"I think so. Cora what do I do? I have to fix this."

"Just explain."

"He hates me."

"It didn't sound like it. He seemed hurt that you did that, but I don't think he ever hated you."

"I'll try to talk to him."
