Olivia was headed to lunch when she collided with someone.
"I'm sorry I didn't-" she stopped as soon as she saw who she had bumped into.
"Miss Blake is it? I knew your Dad back when we were kids."
"Yeah I heard you two got in a huge fight. Of course our family got the bad end of it."
"Ah, you mean the curse. Yes, very unfortunate. Figured out how to break it?"
"No. It's all your stupid family's fault."
"Now, didn't your father teach you respect?"
"Didn't Draco tell you about me? I don't respect garbage."
"Draco hasn't said a word about you. I guess you're not important enough." Olivia felt like someone just stabbed her in the back. Why did she care? Draco doesn't matter.
"I have to go before I miss lunch." Olivia walked to the great hall.
She sat close enough that Draco could hear what she said.
"I finally understand why Malfoy is the way he is." Olivia said to Harry.
"What do you mean?"
"I've just met his dad."
"You met my father?"
"So now I'm important?"
"What?" Draco asked, confused.
"Nothing, snake." Draco was offended that she had called him that.
"So now you call me the same thing as the rest of the Slytherins." Draco smiled but felt like frowning.
"You're a Slytherin. You're nothing special." This time he did frown.
"Whatever, I couldn't care less what you think." He spat.
"Typical Olivia." Fred said.
"Always causing trouble." George finished.
"I'm not causing trouble. It's all Malfoy's fault."
"You couldn't last two weeks without arguing with him." Fred said.
"Couldn't handle being nice to him. His friend." George said.
"Wanna bet?" Olivia was too stubborn not to prove them wrong. They looked at each other and smirked.
"100 galleons." They said together.
"How about I give you 100 galleons if you win, and you have to promise to never prank me again. In fact, anyone that I say."
"You can pick 5 people that we'll leave alone." George said.
"We gotta deal?" Fred asked.
"Deal."
"Now remember." George started.
"You have to be his friend." Fred finished.
"I know."
"He has to believe that you're his friend."
"Fine." She was screwed. There was absolutely no way Malfoy would ever consider her a friend.

Draco sat in the great hall eating breakfast. He watched as Olivia walked in with her best friend Cora.
"So he actually got sick?"
"Yup, just like everyone else. At least it's not as bad as last time." Olivia said.
"Didn't the last one break 10 different bones?"
"Mhm."
Draco smirked. That means Olivia wasn't going on a date.
"Told you." Draco caught Olivia's attention.
"What do you-" Cora elbowed her in the stomach. "I mean, how are you today?"
"Eww what was that? I think I heard you wrong."
"Can we just start over? I want us to not be enemies." Draco stared at her as if she had grown ten more heads.
"You're the one who hated me first."
"I know, but maybe we could get along."
"Fine, we can start over, but you have to prove to me that you mean it. Come to Hogsmeade with me."
"You wanna risk getting hurt?" Olivia asked, trying to convince him otherwise.
"I won't get hurt because it's not a date."
"Then what is it?"
"Two people hanging out."
"Fine, but if you get hurt you can't blame me."
"Great, be ready in an hour." Draco stood up and left. Why did she want to start over? It was suspicious and Draco was going to figure it out.
He pulled on a pair of jeans and a white shirt. He headed down to the great hall to meet Olivia.
She was wearing a black shirt and jeans.
"How cute. Opposite shirts."
"Shut up." Olivia mumbled, making Draco smile.
The two walked to Hogsmeade in silence. "Come on, we'll get butterbeer and then look at the shops."
"Okay." Why was Olivia suddenly so nervous?
After they got the butter beer they sat down.
"So, what are you up to? Why are you not being mean to me?"
"I really want to really get to know you."
"I don't believe you."
"This is why nobody likes you." Draco smiled at Olivia snapping.
"There's the Olivia I know."
"How about we start by getting to know each other?"
"Okay, what's your favorite color?"
"Black. What about you?"
"Black? Why black?"
"Just tell me yours."
"Not until I know why."
"I look better in black than any other color. It makes me feel skinny. Happy?"
"Who cares if you're skinny?"
"Just tell me your favorite color so we can move on."
"Green."
"Your obsession with your house is ridiculous."
"It's not because of my house." 'It's your eyes you idiot.' Draco thought.
"Then what is it because of."
"No way, you can't know that."
"I told you about mine."
"That's different."
"No it's not."
"It's because of my house, you were right." He lied.
"Fine, don't tell me."
"Let's go." Draco stood up and Olivia followed.
"Where to next?"
"I don't care."
"How about we just walk around and talk."
"Sure."
By the end of the day the two actually started to get along.
"I surprisingly had fun today. We should hang out more often." Draco said.
"Yeah we should."
"See you." He smiled and walked away.
