Outing and 'That'

"Anirudh, the furnitures will arrive tomorrow, right?" Bondita asked as they both walked out of the store.

"Yes, we will just have to clean our house and buy vegetables on our way. What will we eat this afternoon?"

"What do you want to eat?"

"Ahh... Aloor dum and luchi!"

"Good idea! It has been many days since I have eaten that! So it's decided!" Bondita replied excitedly as she gently swinged his hand with hers.

"Isn't this like a date?" Anirudh asked.

"Yes! We are having dates everyday!" 

"Should we go somewhere open? How about that pond?"

"Yes yes! Let's dip our feet into water together!" Bondita said as she increased her pace, holding Anirudh's hand.

"Slow down Bondita, that pond isn't going anywhere!"

"Are you scared of falling on your face?"

"More like I fear that you may rip my arm off."

"Oh sorry sorry! I was very excited right now!" she replied as she slowed down a bit.

They both finally reached the pond and looked around cheerfully.

"The pond will be a bit cold right now! We can relax here!"

"Right! Let me take my shoes and socks off....." Anirudh said as he pulled out his sock.

"Haaahhh... It's so calming...." Bondita said as she dipped her feet.

"Right? Feels like all my stress concentrated inside my head has been wiped out...."

"We should come here everyday! Don't you think so?"

"Well, everyday isn't possible. But we can come in weekends!"

"Hmm! Tomorrow we have to go to the court too. I think everyone would congratulate us at first!"

"Instead they would tease us, especially my friends" Anirudh said as he chuckled to himself.

"Say Anirudh, after we got married it doesn't feel like anything has changed. Why so?"

"Because the feelings we have for each other are eternal. They can never change." Anirudh replied with a sigh to which Bondita smiled. Bondita rested her head on his shoulder. Anirudh's hand patted her head gently from behind. They both closed their eyes for sometime.

"Bondita! Do you need any help?" asked Anirudh as he patiently sat on the mattress.

"No, it's okay! It's almost done!" Bondita replied as she tasted the cooking food.

"Should I arrange dishes here?"

"It's okay, I can manage. Aah! This tastes so good!"

"You are not letting me do anything. Atleast as a husband I ought to help you" Anirudh muttered.

"Then come here and taste this! Tell me how is it!"

"Finally I got something to do!" Anirudh said as he happily entered the kitchen.

"You were getting bored?"

"Hmm. I don't like to stay idle for a long time"

"You just sat there for about twenty minutes. Here! It's a bit hot so be careful!" Bondita said as she brought a spoon of cooked potato close to his mouth.

Anirudh ate it slowly and replied, "It tastes so good! I want to eat it more!"

"He he! Let's eat it with rice!"

Anirudh mixed the potato curry with rice and tasted it.

"It's delicious!"

"Hmm! Here!" said Bondita as she brought some of her rice close to his mouth.

"Bondita it's yours, eat it yourself"

"Uff! Quickly eat it or it will fall from my hands!" Bondita replied as she twisted her brows. Anirudh held Bondita's hand and ate the rice from her hands. He licked her fingers to which she trembled.

"Hey, I didn't tell you to lick my fingers!" Bondita said with a pout.

"I wanted to taste your fingers too" Anirudh replied as he licked his fingers to which Bondita blushed, "He is looking handsome there".

Bondita combed her hair after taking a bath. She gazed out of the window as the moonlight fell on the floor. The night was making her sleepy.

"Bondita, what about the after marriage rituals?" Anirudh asked Bondita as she sat on the mattress.

"Kaka Sasurji has still not agreed. So we have to wait for his approval first."

"You have already accepted him. And Kaka is taking so much time just to accept you! He should learn to be more accepting just like you!" said Anirudh as he laid on the mattress.

"Your Kaka is thinking about you though. Even if he seems mean he said those because he cares for you. Don't you think?" Bondita said as she laid on her stomach and played with his hair.

"Hmm. But I don't want him to be mean to you! You didn't even do anything wrong to deserve this!"

"It's not about whether I did anything wrong or something, right? He was just worried about you. My parents too asked me about you to make sure I was with a guy who can make me happy. Kaka will surely accept us gradually. We just have to wait for it....."

"You seriously say such calming things Bondita. That's why, I want him to accept you sooner" Anirudh replied with a smile and held her close to himself.

"Well, listen Anirudh"

"Hmm?"

"When are we going to do 'that'?"

"Do what?"

"Tch! You are not understanding? I mean, I want to...... I am talking about SE-!!!!"

"Shh! I understood! Don't shout like that or people will swarm over here! We are in an apartment!" Anirudh quickly said as he covered Bondita's mouth with his hand.

"S-Sorry, I got so embarassed so...."

"I am the one who is embarassed. It has been just one day. We don't have to hurry things! Wait for it."

"But Didi said that she had sex with her husband after one day only....."

"Wait! What did you ask your sister?"

"I just asked about sex. What was it, what is felt like and when it happens, I didn't ask anything more"

"You have already asked a lot more. Also, is it appropriate to ask someone about their personal life?"

"But I was curious! I want to do it! I want to do it! I want to do it!" Bondita insisted as she took hold of Anirudh's night dress and clung to him.

"Okay okay, calm down. We will surely do it! But, shouldn't we move things gradually? Things are more fun when they are experienced slowly! So from tomorrow we will start! Now sleep"

"You promise?"

"Of course! I won't lie to you!" Anirudh replied with a smile as he kissed her forehead and held her close to him as he closed his eyes.
