No one's POV:
Finney Blake was a target for the bullies at school, a shy,quiet kid who wants to be left alone..what's better than that?. He didn't really have any friends,well maybe one his name was Robin Arellano and he would always try his best to stick up for Finney. But today Robin had gotten into a fight so he had to stay with a teacher all day so things wouldn't get out of hand.
That made Finney number 1 target for the bullies again, Robin had told him that one day he would have to defend himself, But Finn just couldn't. He wasn't the only kid who got bullied, lots of them did,rather for lunch money or doing their homework, most kids just do it without a reason at all. Most of the kids were popular, they would always go for the people who don't know how to stick up for themselves, but not all of the popular kids were bullies.
There was this one girl, her name was Y/n L/n and she was beautiful, she didn't go around bullying people, sure she had gotten into fights but that was only if somebody had been talking bad about her or were just being horrible in general.
Finneys POV:
I walked out of class and saw my three bullies Matt,matty and buz, "hey finney" Matt smirked and they all started following me. I fast walked to the bathrooms and when I finally got there I hid inside a stall and put my legs on the seat so they couldn't see under. (The toilets are gender neutral)
"Come out shit head" one of them said, I waited a little longer but then realised that they weren't going anywhere so I walked out of the stall and faced them.
"Sup freak" Buz laughed. They all started laughing but they fell silent when y/n walked in "what are you assholes doing?" She questioned, They all blushed and stuttered at her "n-nothing". "Get out of here jerks" They all walked out of the bathrooms fast, and once they were gone y/n walked over to me.
"Are you okay? Did they do anything?" She asked me with a hint of worry in her voice, "Yea I'm fine, thank you for sticking up for me" I reassured her. "Anytime" She smiled and walked off.
For the rest of the day I couldn't stop thinking about her "oh y/n will you marry me" Gwen teased as we walked home "shut up" I laughed, once we got home we saw dad asleep on the sofa, I put a blanket over him and me and Gwen went to our rooms.
*A couple of hours later*
It was now night and I was in my bed ready to go asleep but one thought that lingered through my head was 'why did y/n stick up for me?'. I kept thinking about it until sleep finally caught up to me.
*The next day*
Today Robin had texted me and told me that he was sick so he couldn't come in (don't worry guys Robins alive 😭)
I ran away from the three bullies but they had caught me and tackled me, they were hitting and kicking, I'm half glad that no one was around to see this because I would be the school joke, but the other half of me is praying for someone to come out and help me. "Hey you worthless piece of shits!" Somebody called out, I could hear their footsteps getting louder which mean they were getting closer.
It was y/n she dragged the boys off me but matty had grabbed y/n from the neck behind her, but she used that to her advantage, she grabbed his hand and flipped him over her shoulder, im guessing he landed wrong because he started crying saying that he hurt his shoulder.
Y/n then went over to buz and punched him in the stomach and when he kneeled over in pain y/n grabbed his shoulders and brought her knee up to his face and broke his nose.
Matt was still going at me, he was trying to punch me but y/n took a rock and grabbed matts shoulders to turn him around and hit him in the face with the rock. Soon after all three of them started running the opposite way from us "Cowards!" Y/n Shouted after them.
She then turned to me and helped me up "I'm not going to ask if your okay because your obviously not and I would look very stupid which rarely happens to me" She joked. She grabbed my hand and went the opposite way of school. "Wait where are we going?" I asked.
"I'm taking us to the park, I don't feel like going to school because we're already late and when we walk in everybody will stare at us" y/n explained. "Yeah i guess that's true".
When we finally got the the park we sat on the swings and spoke about random stuff. "Why do those guys even bully you anyway?" She started. "I don't know really, I guess I'm just an easy target" I felt a bit said inside but I smiled anyways.
"I could pretend to be your girlfriend at school and stuff, then no one would ever give you a hard time" Y/n offered. "You'd do that for me?" I asked "sure" she shrugged before saying "you would keep the creepy guys away from me..besides" she held out her hand for me to take, which I did "I've never actually had a real boyfriend before" she laughed.
I accepted the offer and we spent the rest of the day together, I really hope her plan works because if it does then people won't bully me anymore and I'll finally be accepted as a human and not as a punching bag.
