The first thing I heard was someone opening the curtains.

Not gently.

Not carefully.

Just the loud sound of fabric being pulled aside followed by the sudden attack of sunlight hitting my face.

I immediately groaned and pulled the blanket over my head. "No."

A familiar laugh filled the room. "Rise and shine, my favorite girls!"

Atlas.

Of course.

I didn't even have to look to know it was him. Nobody else had the confidence to walk into our dormitory, open the curtains, and act like they were doing everyone a favor.

"You have about five seconds before I throw something at you," I mumbled into my pillow.

"You're awake. That's progress." He happily exclaimed as I heard him slap his hands together.

"I'm going back to sleep."

"No, you're not."

"Watch me."

I heard him walk closer and it didn't take long before I felt the feeling of a soft pillow hitting me straight in the face.

I slowly opened my eyes, staring up at him through half-lidded eyes.

He stood at the side of my bed with a satisfied grin, holding the pillow he had just thrown at me.

His dark blond hair was a complete mess, sticking up in different directions like he had fought with it instead of brushing it. His shirt was slightly wrinkled, his robe was barely hanging properly around his shoulders, and his eyes still carried the tiredness of someone who had clearly not been awake for very long.

He looked like he had just dragged himself out of bed and somehow decided waking everyone else up was his responsibility.

"You are the worst person alive," I mumbled.
