"Harry Potter is dead!"
A quiet breath left my lips as I placed a hand above my mouth, feeling how Mattheo's hand tightened its hold around mine.
Voldemort's laughter covered the school ground as I felt chills run down my spine from the sound of it.
"No! No!" Ginny cried out, attempting to run over towards them but was quickly stopped by her father as he desperately pulled her back.
Her cries made my chest start to wrench in pain.
Dead.
"Silence!" The dark wizard yelled out loudly, gaining everyone's attention once again. A small thud could be heard, the stones of the castle rumbling.
I had my eyes on him, the man who had destroyed us all one by one and the only thing everyone could ever call home.
"Stupid girl..." He gritted out while glaring over at Ginny. "Harry Potter is dead. From this day forth...." He raised a finger, pointed over at us. "You put your faith in me."
A faint chuckle left my lips in disbelief as I shook my head, not fully believing what I was hearing from him.
Those cold blue eyes quickly snapped to mine, locking me in.
"Don't you see Black?" He gritted out as his finger moved over to me instead. "There's nothing left." He mumbled out, a wicked smile covering his lips as he gestured around us. "It's time to quit."
A small breath left my lips as I smiled a little at him. "Haven't you learned anything?" I chuckled out before hardening my gaze, glaring over at him. "I don't know when to quit."
A wicked chuckle left his lips as he pointed at me, showing off the rotten teeth inside his mouth.
"There is nothing left stupid girl!" He yelled out loudly while gesturing around us. "Your little friend is dead, your muggleborn friend from that dirty basement is dead, Remus Lupin is dead, your whole family is dead-"
