Eric Forman's living room
12:00 AM
"Happy New Year!" everyone cheers. Red wraps his arms around Kitty and gives her a good kiss. Eric and Donna awkwardly peck and hug. Jackie is swept away by Fez. Finally, she has everything she has ever wanted. Fez is so romantic and he absolutely adores her. It feels great.
As always, Hyde ends up on the outside, looking in. Everyone else is hugging and clinking glasses. Mrs. Forman comes over and plants a big, wet kiss on his cheek. Aw, Mrs. Forman, she's always so sweet. He looks up to see Jackie and Fez, all over each other. Even though it makes him sick, he can't look away. He knew Jackie liked Fez, but he never actually believed it would happen. Now that it has, all the feelings he buried rise to the surface.
Fez holds Jackie tight. Her head fits over his shoulder. Why does he have to be so short? Across the room, she locks eyes with Hyde. He is staring at her. Jackie's heart skips a beat, sending a shockwave through her body. This is the first time he has looked, really looked at her since Chicago. Neither looks away. Hyde nods his head slightly, trying to pass along the message that things are okay, nothing is wrong.
It only lasts an instant, then it is over. Fez pulls Jackie into another kiss and she is among the revellers once again. Everyone was so busy celebrating no one noticed her moment with Hyde. She looks over to where Hyde was standing, but he is gone. She doesn't let her gaze linger. She has Fez now. Fez is her man, the one with his arm around her.
Kelso, wearing the stupid helmet, runs up behind Red and pulls his pants down. "Burn, Dumbass!" he cries.
Red is dumbfounded. His face goes red with fury. He clenches his fists and his arms shake.
"Oh no," says Eric.
Red lunges towards Kelso.
"Ahhh!" Kelso screams like a little girl and runs out through the kitchen. Everyone waits expectantly as Red pulls up his pants. Red looks around the room to his terrified guests.
"Party's over! Everyone out!" Red shouts and stomps upstairs.

Hyde sips his beer in the basement. He can't face the situation anymore. Jackie and Fez. His Jackie and Fez. She's not his Jackie anymore. He's not supposed to care. He's Hyde. He's zen. What, or who, Jackie does is not his problem.
Kelso bursts through the outside basement door and slams it. Hyde looks up, but doesn't say anything. Kelso looks around frantically. When he realizes he has an audience, he relaxes.
"Hyde, you missed one sick burn!" Kelso cries.
"I needed a beer," Hyde says, holding up his can.
The gang tumbles down the stairs from the kitchen. Great, now they're all here, Hyde thinks. He wants to be alone. He sips more of his beer.
"Kelso, man, you're going to die tomorrow, but that was awesome!" Eric says joyfully.
"What happened?" Hyde asks.
"Kelso just pulled the pants off of Red," Fez explains.
"How could you miss that, Hyde?" Donna says.
Hyde shrugs and holds up his drink. "I had more important business to attend to."
"Well, I hate to run, but we're going home," Fez says as he moves to the door, Jackie plastered on him. Hyde finishes the can. The thought of them going home together, of what they might do later...he needs another beer.
