Forman's Kitchen

12:35pm

Kitty hurries about the kitchen, making the final preparations for the birthday cake. Red comes in from the BBQ outside and groans.

"What's wrong, Red?" Kitty asks without looking up. The cake has to be perfect.

"All these people. Why did we have to have a party?" Red complains.

"We haven't had a party in ages and everyone wants to see the twins," Kitty says, placing the candles delicately on the cake.

"But a birthday party? They're babies, they don't care about a party," Red says.

"It's their first birthday! It's special!" Kitty says.

"Their birthday was a week ago," Red points out. It's true, they were born June 30th.

Kitty gives Red a dark look. "They don't know what day it is. They're babies!" Kitty covers the cake and heads outside to get herself a drink.

People mingle about. Kitty has gathered quite a crowd today, assembling friends and relatives from far and near. Penny, Kitty's niece, gets a soda at the same time as a well-dressed, familiar face.

"Oh my god, you're Wake Up, Wisconsin's Jackie Burkhart!" Penny exclaims.

"Yes, yes I am," Jackie beams, flashing a million dollar smile. She loves being recognized in public.

"You're amazing! Since Christine St. George retired last year, you've taken the show to a whole other level!" Penny gushes. "The special you did on the deep inner meaning of Nancy Drew blew me away."

Penny continues fawning over Jackie as Bob passes by and grabs a beer. He spots Kelso and Fez nearby, wearing nearly identical outfits, and joins them.

"Hi boys!" he says.

"Hey Bob!" Kelso says excitedly, shaking Bob's hand. Fez shakes Bob's hand enthusiastically as well. "How's the bait shop?" Kelso asks.

"You know, I'm reeling them in," Bob gestures casting a fishing pole. "What are you boys up to?"

"I'm still in security," Kelso says, "but I've moved on to patrolling the Civic Theatre. Fez works backstage in hair and makeup."

"Nice," Bob says, nodding.

"Yes, it is a dream," Fez says.

"You two still pretty close?" Bob points to their outfits.

"Yeah, we share an apartment downtown," Kelso says.

"I heard you got married..." Bob pries. He looks around for unaccompanied ladies.

"Yes, we did," Kelso confirms. "They're over there," he points to the food table, where two beautiful women with teased hair make themselves plates. Bob cocks his head, how did those bozos land those foxy babes? The women are deeply engaged in conversation. One reaches out her hand and tenderly caresses the other's cheek, then they share a loving kiss.

Bob is even more confused. "Are they...?" he doesn't know how to properly ask the question.

"Yes, they are!" Kelso almost cheers. He and Fez share a secret handshake. How lucky are they to have found a couple of girls who were already a couple?

"So...um...how does that work?" Bob asks.

"It is very simple, Bob," Fez says. "When Heather and Kelly want Kelso and Fez, they get Kelso and Fez. But when Heather and Kelly want Heather and Kelly, they get Heather and Kelly."
