The Forman's Kitchen

2:33pm

"Hey Mrs. Forman," Donna greets as she enters the kitchen, "Is Eric back from...class..." Donna slows down and checks her watch. Kitty is pouring tequila over ice into the blender. "It's a little early, isn't it?" Kitty doesn't respond. She turns on the blender. When she is done, she pours herself a margarita.

"Cheers!" Kitty says to Donna, holding up her glass and talking a long drink.

"What are we celebrating?"

"The end of a very long week," Kitty says.

"Of course, Jackie goes home today," Donna concludes.

"Yes. She's a bossy little b-word, isn't she?" Kitty says.

"Yeah...you get used to it after a while," Donna says.

"You need one?" Kitty offers a glass to Donna.

"No thanks. I thought I'd wait 'til tomorrow to see Jackie; let Fez have her to himself today."

Kitty unsuccessfully stifles a laugh.

"What's so funny?"

"I know something!" Kitty giggles.

"What? Tell me!" Donna presses.

"There's trouble in paradise," Kitty says.

"What do you mean?" Donna asks, concerned.

"Jackie and Fez are not having intercourse!" Kitty whispers.

"What?!" Not that Donna cares about Jackie's sex life, but she thought things were going well between them.

"Mmmm hmmm," Kitty nods. "I'm so relieved! Steven needs a good woman in his life."

"Mrs. Forman, Hyde and Jackie aren't getting back together," Donna says rationally. "I mean, he hasn't even visited her once."

Kitty giggles some more.

"Oh no, what else?" Donna asks.

"He snuck in the night she was admitted and stayed the whole night. It was the cutest thing! The two of them were curled up together like two peas in a pod."

Kitty giggles and sips on her drink while Donna digests the information. Hyde and Jackie? What about Fez? She can't let Jackie go down that road again. She has to do something.

--------------

"Just a...little...further," Fez grunts as he attempts to carry Jackie into the apartment.

"Really, Fez, I can walk," Jackie says.

"No," Fez struggles onward, "I...in...sist." He plops Jackie down on the couch. "Nothing to it!"

"Thank you, Fez."

"So, what can I get you, jelly bean? A magazine? Nail polish? Swedish fish?" Ever since he got back from Los Angeles, he has not left Jackie's side. He brings her everything she asks for. As bad as she was feeling, she welcomed a little pampering. She tries to be gracious, but it's becoming just as suffocating as before.

"I'm good. I'd like to just sit here and rest," Jackie says.

"Well, don't rest for too long, I have a surprise," Fez says.

Jackie fights the urge to roll her eyes. Another surprise? She thought he was done with those. "What surprise?"

"Since you missed our trip to LA, I have planned a fabulous weekend away in Chicago," Fez announces.
