Dream wheezed at Quackitys joke as we made our way through school halls. Christmas kids by roar, singing in one EarPod, as I had the other one in my hand, wanting to still be able to hear what the boys were taking about. I wasn't looking where I was going, more focused on what I'm listening too, whether it was the boys or my music, and the cliché gods decided to play around with me. I bumped into someone, both of us letting out a yelp.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry!" I started to apologize. I bent down helping them to their feet, now noticing that it was Niki. She shook her head.
"It's okay!" She reassured me with a small smile. I pulled her up and handed her the books she had dropped. She looked at us, then her eyes widened a little, as if she just realized or remembered something.
"Jack! Jack, have you guys seen him? I've been looking around for him for at least the past twenty minutes but I still haven't found him." she explained. We shook our heads apologetically.
"No, sorry Niki. We haven't seen him. We'll let you know if we do, though." Wilbur said, softly, noticing Niki's worry. She nodded thankfully and went her way.

"She seemed really worried. You guys think something happened?" George wondered, turning back to look at Niki while she runs across the hall.
"Let's hope not." His boyfriend responded, also turned back.

"I'll catch up with you in a minute! I forgot something." I explained, running back to my locker.

Walking back, I hummed along to glass animals, ( helium ) and minded my own business until I heard a faint whimpering coming from a corner, that was blocked. I turned to my left, to where to noise was coming from.

"Hello?" I tried. There was the sound  that indicated that there was someone behind there, meaning whoever it was was being suffocated by the shelves that blocked the hallway. I sprinted to where I thought the voice was from, trying to push the shelves out of the way.
"Hey, can you hear me?" I yelped, pushing as hard as I could to get the shelves off the wall. There was another faint whimper, louder this time. Finally, after about three minutes of me pushing, it moved.

Jack.

Jack was leaned - no - hunched against the wall, bruised and crying.

"K-Karl?" He whispered.

I fell on my knees in front of him, with a mix of anger, shook and fear trembling through my words.

"What. Happened." I spat.
