"WILBUR!!" Quackity squealed, jumping on him, laughing in relief.
Wilbur, startled, stumbled backwards. Me and Sapnap exchanged a knowing look.
"Jesus man, we were worried sick about you!" Dream laughs.

Just then, Kyle came running over.
"Hey, Armstrong!!"
Sapnap turned way from the two lovebirds and his eyes hardened.
"What?" He asks, voice deeper then usual and cold, but Kyle doesn't say anything. Instead, he grabs Sapnap by the shirt and ran his hands through Sapnaps back.
I watched in complete horror as the color from Sapnaps face disappeared and as Dream punched Kyle off.
I run over to a falling Sapnap, as he starts to breath heavily. I saw as he looked up at me, begging silently for help before his vision got blurry, stained with tears.
His breathing started speeding up.
"Sapnap. Sapnap, eyes on me. Can you do that?" I whispered, trying to catch his attention. He took a shaking breath and nodded. "The rest of you, go get water and something cold to put on his back for when he calms down. GO!" I ordered them, and they did as said.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't horrified to mess this up, but dear god, I had to try. I faced Sapnap again, who was still shaking, but eyes still focused on me. I crisscrossed my legs as I sat down in front of him.
"Count my fingers for me, okay?" I put my hands, palms in facing him, in front of him at a reasonable distance. "C'mon, sap. You've got this." I reassured him.
"one." He tried, as I put my little finger up. I smile weakly.
"Two." his breath seemed to still be heavy, but he's no longer shaking.
"Three." Pause. "Four." Pause. "Five." He stoped, hands shaking more, as he looked down at them.
"No no, eyes on me. Remember? Eyes up here sap." I tried, softly.
"Six." He stuttered.
"There you go. Keep going." I heard the rest of them returning, as quietly as they could.
"Seven." I noticed his eyes, they seemed to have calmed down before his body did. I nodded, encouragingly. He took another risky breath. "Eight."
"Almost there." I whispered.
"Nine." His body had calmed down, and he seemed to be more aware of his surroundings. "Ten." He looked at me, with a look of grace.
"There you go! You did so well, sap." I said, proud of him. The look he gave me sent butterflies down my body, so my cheeks, naturally, turned a light shade of pink as I smiled back at him.

He took a huge glass of water and signed in relief. "Thank you Karl. Thank you so much." He said, honestly. I nodded.
"No worries. That's what friends are for, sap." I chuckled and he did the same. He handed me a glass.
"You need some too, after taking care of me like that." I smile, thankful as I took a huge sip.
I faced the others, who were staring at me in awe. "Yes?" I teased.
"You've just done something that I cant even do." Dream explained.
My smile widened as I hugged him.

"Come with me." George said, and with one last glance at the man I love, I followed him. He led me through the halls to his locker. "Here, Karl. You deserve this more than anyone after doing that." He handed me a small grayish box. I looked up at him, confused. "Open it." He added.

The necklace.

I felt my heart start to pound in surprise. I looked back up at George, who was smiling. He came closer and hugged me. "From Sapnap." He said.
Tears came streaming fast. I had always wanted to be friends with them, I admired and loved them from a distance, and to have them trust and love me enough to hand me their holy necklace, so to speak, felt unreal. It felt like a dream. The kind of dream I would have constantly during the years that we hadn't even spoken yet.

When we headed back, the rest of them had massive smiles on their faces, knowingly.

"George, you better have hugged him on my behalf!" Sapnap says, In a joking tone but there was a hint of genuine sadness because he couldn't do it himself. I gave him the best smile I could muster, nodding.
"He did!" I replied.
He smiled back at me, winking.
I felt my face heat up.
