Three days had passed since the events of the Fourth Phase.
Everyone was gathered in a large room at a hotel run by the Hunter Association.

Netero: Congratulations to everyone making it to the Final Phase. This last phase is-

Everyone: Huh?
Netero: Yes, I know it sounds confusing, but trust me, all that will happen is that you need a win to pass. The losers will go to the next fight. There will be one loser by the end of the exam. Meaning the 13 out of you will pass. Any questions?

Netero: All you have to do is get your opponent to admit defeat. It also represents your performance during the other phases.

Match 1: Gon vs Hanzo!!
Gon and Hanzo took their places.
Hanzo: You ready?
Gon: You bet!
Hanzo: I've been looking for a good challenge this entire exam. I must admit, it was impressive that you took Hisoka's badge.
Gon smirked.
Gon: I had practice.
Referee: AND BEGIN!!
Gon charged at Hanzo, and-
Hanzo: Good move. But-
He appeared in front of him.
Hanzo: I'm faster.
He hit Gon in the back of the neck.
(Y/N): WOAH!!
Ruby: That Hanzo guy is fast!
Weiss: Yeah he is. He's a ninja. They're trained to be really fast.
Blake: And surprise their opponents.
Yang: COME ON GON!! KICK HIS ASS!!
Killua: He'll need to think of a different strategy.
Gon shakes it off.
Hanzo: Try all you want, you won't beat me.
Gon: (blows raspberry)
Hanzo just hits him again.
Hanzo: Taking more hits will make you even more exhausted.
Gon keeps refusing, and Hanzo just keeps attacking!
Leorio: Gon! Just give up! You can still-
Gon: No! I can do this!
Hanzo gets annoyed and grips Gon's arm.
Hanzo: Give up now, or I will snap your arm.
Yang: WHAT?!
(Y/N): OH HELL NO!
Ruby: LET HIM GO!!!
Gon: No! I- AAAAARGH!!
He felt pain as Hanzo snapped it.
3 hours later...
You guys were shocked.
Pokkle and Bodoro were feeling awful for Gon.
Hanzo: You can't win. I've trained in ninjutsu and other skills for 18 years of my life.
He shows by standing in his index finger.
But then as he opens his eyes, Gon kicked him in the face.
Gon: You talk too much.
Leorio: YEAH!! THAT'S IT!!
Yang: FUCK HIM UP GON!!
Killua: No, killing will get him disqualified.
Hanzo stands up and wipes the blood off of his nose.
He then takes out a blade.
Hanzo: I'll just have to sever your leg to prove a point.
Gon: Even if you do that, I won't surrender.
Hanzo: WHY ARE YOU SO DIFFICULT?!
Everyone starts laughing.
Hanzo: Come on! There has to be-
Gon: If you cut off my leg, I'll eventually die from blood loss.
Netero: He's right you know.
Hanzo: Why? Why do you not want to-
Gon: If I don't become a hunter, I might not see my Dad.
Hanzo: And that's worth dying?!
Gon doesn't answer.
Hanzo withdraws his blade.
Hanzo: I like this kid. He really wants to see his father. I give up.
Gon: Huh?
Hanzo: You win. I surrender.
Gon: Huh?! You can't just walk away!
Hanzo: HUH?! You really want to find another wya to get me to surrender? Even when I just did?
Gon: Yeah!
Hanzo: ARGH!! FORGET IT!
He knocks Gon out in one punch.
(Y/N): (sigh) Sorry about him. He's stubborn as a mule.
