Ling Lan's eyes looked softly at a certain figure who laid beside her. It wouldn't be considered merciless to enjoy teasing her Lanfeng a tinny bit more than she probably should, right?

She sighed wistfully, it was just too lovely. There was a special thrill she got from seeing him stiffen up, blush, and be left either speechless or with a speech in-pediment. And a mistaken sentence or two never hurt anyone.

At this point she believed that Li Lanfeng had started seeing her as a fox demon for her lack of restraint.

As much as she enjoyed these days, they had to come to an end at some point. And she wanted that day to be according to her wishes. When he would say a wonderful combination of three.

She looked at him with eyes full of affection, her hands weaving through his soft silky hair. Was she obsessively in love with him? She really didn't think she was. She didn't even know if she had a healthy definition of love. But when she looked at him she couldn't help but think...

'This person, I don't want to let him go.' And she certainly didn't think he wanted to either, the corner of her lips raised ever so slightly.

She's been laying with him for a few hours and was playing with his hair. She didn't feel the need to hide the fact. It was pleasant to touch and he seemingly enjoyed the touch as he brought himself closer to her.

Li Lanfeng's eyelashes trembled ever so slightly as he started to wake up from the feeling of a certain someone's hands playfully running through his hair. This messy half awakened state enthralled her.

"You're adorable when you're half asleep like this." Her softly spoken sentence jolted him awake. Now I must tell you she wasn't just laying beside him. His face was barely centimeters away from her chin as he was laying on her arm. The same couldn't be said for their flushed together bodies. Ling Lan's fingers never stopped there fondling.

Why was she like this? Was it that fun to reduce him to such a state? He looked at her with furrowed brows that did nothing but screamed 'Isn't this too far?'

Ling Lan felt like rolling her eyes and stared deadpanned at him, "As much as I do like you, I have no thoughts of forcing you into my arms. Especially not unconsciously." And to tell the truth, it wasn't entirely her fault this time.

'So it's my fault?' Li Lanfeng closed his eyes and spoke in resignation, "And what fault would I have in this?" It was her hands that interfered with his wonderful dreams.

Ling Lan smiled, "Where are your hands right now?"

Hearing those words Li Lanfeng moved his hands uncontrollably. His body froze in place when he felt his hands squeeze onto the warmth beneath his palms.

Ling Lan stopped smiling and latched a hand down on his shoulder, finally moving it away from his hair, and looked down, "I'm also not one to trade my body like this either." He followed her gaze all the way down to his hands....

Which were conveniently wrapped around her waist and back.

He may be getting a little too comfortable.

"How..." he was confused as to whether it was her or his own doing.

Seeing the confused face of the man looking to her for an explanation, Ling Lan straightforwardly recounted the extraordinary events that took place a while earlier.

...

Both of them slept like any other night, in the same bed but never truly together. That is until she felt the familiar presence behind her move.

She thought he was only shifting around and went back to sleep. But as soon as she settled back into slumber warm hands sneakily glided it's way across her waist underneath their shared cover. Tightly these arms held her till she was fully caged against her husband's chest.
