Nathan's POV
Kurt f*cking Jackson.
Why did that name irritate me so much when I saw it flashing on Kristen's phone? I don't even know why Kristen hangs out with him... she doesn't even know the guy!
Why am I getting worked up about this... I'm overreacting. They're just friends. Kristen's just being her friendly self.
I soon realise that I'm keeping him on the line and immediately answered his question.
"She's taking a nap. This is Nathan... her boyfriend." I stated with confidence, earning a disappointed 'Oh' from the other line.
"Well uh... could you tell her that I called?" He asked, sounding uncomfortable.
"Yeah sure." I replied in a monotone, then without a word, the line went dead as Kurt hung up.
I rolled my eyes towards the rude action and went back inside the room, quietly. I placed Kristen's phone on the night stand and decided to take a nap on the small couch next to the window. Not that I didn't want to sleep next to her or anything but I do not want to risk being pushed off the bed by a startled Kristen Morgan when she wakes up.
Picking up two pillows and another blanket from the closet, I stride over to the small couch and got myself comfortable enough so I could sleep. To my surprise, the couch was not that bad so I dozed off in no time.
Kristen's POV (sorry for the fast perspective changes)
When I woke up from my nap, the room was dark and cold.
No light entered the room except for the moonlight that was passing through the transparent curtains by the windows. The room temperature felt like the time I went to the North Pole for an organisation conference regarding my charity in saving polar bears when I needed photographs of the endangered animals and I couldn't feel my toes from the coldness. I really felt like I was about to die because I was literally shaking, clutching the blanket tightly to my body in hopes to become warm.
I finally decided to stand up and change the temperature even if my body was shaking vigorously as I walked toward the thermostat. When I turned the heat up the coldness was slowly decreasing as I sighed in content. I went back to the bed but noticed a figure on a couch attached by the window. I quietly walked over to the figure covered by a large blanket, slightly afraid that the strange figure might be a monster called Babadook that liked to be in the dark.
I slowly pulled the blanket and was relieved when a face of a very handsome, sleeping man came to my vision. Obviously (and thankfully) it was Nathan because we do share a room together.
I sorta felt bad that he was sleeping here, on this small couch that wasn't really fit for his tall frame, while I was on a huge bed all by myself. He does look cute trying to fit in the small couch though, to be honest. He was crouched slightly as he snuggled his face on a pillow, facing away from me.
I couldn't help but smile fondly, staring at his sleeping self.
He didn't want to sleep beside me because he knew I was going to be angry if we find ourselves spooning or something and I did not want that to happen... well, not right now. Wait what? I meant, not ever.
Shaking my head, I climbed back on the bed and figured to check the current happenings on social media because I have not been so active lately and because I was bored.
