Kristen Morgan was set to become the CEO of a billion-dollar fashion empire called M, only to discover that she did not want to be what her mother wanted her to be.
She wanted to find herself. Freshly out of college, she wanted to pursue her dreams...
"Are you ready?" Nathan asked when I opened the front door.
He was wearing a black shirt and skinny jeans, black Vans and a leather jacket.

"Twinsies!" I exclaimed and he took notice that I was also wearing a black leather jacket except mine was three inches smaller.

"Oh yeah! Wow! So, shall we?" Nathan asked as I nodded, following him toward his Audi.
He opened the passenger door for me and I thanked him for his oh-so gentleman act.
When he got in on the other side, we drove off to the fashion show.
"So this is it... we're going to confirm this relationship huh?" Nathan stated and I sighed.
"I guess so." I breathed out. "Nathan..." I began, "Whatever happens, we'll stay friends and support each other right? I mean, whatever happens to us while doing this stunt, I just want us to be okay. You know... as friends?" I said and Nathan looked at me.
He hesitated but gave me a nod, nonetheless. I sighed in relief.
The car stopped when we got to the venue. A few famous fashion icons, models, artists, actors, and designers were piling in, walking down the red carpet as they entered the doors to which led to my mother's fashion show. Elites from all over the world arrived in their limos, dressed in fancy dresses and expensive jewelry while Nathan and I settled for simple.
I mean, I know I or Nathan and I should be the the ones capturing the people's attention and I should look glamorous as the other elites but this was my mother's night. Her life's work... her and my father's... it's their night. I didn't want to take it from her even though she subtly told me to.
There were a lot of paparazzi around, obviously. Some took photos, some interviewed celebrities as some reported live, gossip shows and celebrity news outlets here and there. They were everywhere.
A few of the paparazzi had seen Nathan's car so they took it upon themselves to wait outside for us to greet us.
As soon as Nathan and I stepped out of the car, the paparazzi showered us with blinding lights and screaming questions about tonight.
