"We were going to wait for everyone to gather, however, now is a good time as any to begin our story."
Ran, Moca, Tomoe, Himari, Tsugumi, and Ako gather around the suit to listen to her words.
"Sixteen years ago, the young master was born. It was on that day that we received a call from the hospital about a possible intruder."
[Sixteen years ago]
"Congratulations! It's a baby girl!"
A nurse hands a woman her newborn baby, swaddled in cloth and sleeping peacefully. The mother smiles as she holds her daughter for the first time. Her father stands next to them, also smiling.
"What will you be naming her?" The nurse asks.
"We were thinking... Kokoro" the mother answers. "I want my daughter to have a big heart filled with nothing but love."
The baby smiles as she hears her mother's words. The nurse asks the father to go with her to fill out the paperwork for their newborn daughter. As her father leaves, the baby begins crying.
"There, there, little Kokoro" her mother sways her. "Your father will be back shortly." Mr. Tsurumaki waves at his daughter before exiting the room. The nurse leads him to the counter, where he begins to fill out the birth certificate. As he signs, he sees something out of the corner of his eye.
"What was that?" He asks the nurse. The nurse turns to where he is facing, but does not see anything.
"What was what?" the nurse asks. Mr. Tsurumaki turns again and sees a small Negative standing in the corner. It scurries off quickly before he can process what he just saw. He takes a second to compose himself.
"It's nothing. Here you go" he says, handing the nurse back the papers.
"Thank you. You may return to your family."
Mr. Tsurumaki walks back to his wife's room, but does not come in. Instead, he grabs a radio from his pocket and speaks into it. "Send a few suits. Possible intruder in the hospital." He puts the small radio away before going back to his wife.
A group of suits arrives at the hospital. Teams of two suits stand at various entrances leading to the Tsurumaki's hospital rooms. A rookie and a veteran suit are assigned the spot directly in front of the hospital room.
"No intruders were detected on camera. Keep an eye out for anything or anyone suspicious."
The two suits stand guard at the door. Some time later, the sound of a baby crying is heard from inside the room. A Negative then appears in front of the door.
"Do you see that?" The younger suit asks the older one.
"See what?" The older suit responds. Before the younger one can describe the Negative, it slithers towards the door and enters from underneath the door. The younger suit quickly opens the door and sees the Negative approach the hospital bed.
"What is that!?" Mr. Tsurumaki yells, seeing the Negative. Before anyone can react, the Negative extends its claw and jumps at the hospital bed. Before it can strike, baby Kokoro stops crying and begins to glow. Light energy bursts from her, disintegrating it completely. The young suit and Mr. Tsurumaki stare in awe.
"What's going on?" Mrs. Tsurumaki asks, not having been able to see the Negative.
"A-apologies." The young suit says, stepping out and closing the door behind her.
[The present]
"You said that was the first time you saw a Negative, right?" Ran asks the suit. "When was the next?"
