When the road turns into and uneven surface, I can tell we're almost there. When Ben stops the car roughly –making Michael, Calum and I to hit into the side of the van we are supporting on– I know it.

"You're finished, son of a bitch!" Ben screams and I confirm it.

I hear the driver's door being opened and shut right after. Then the back door is fully opened revealing Ben who was fuming out of anger, and the look in his face was hungry of revenge. This is the moment we were waiting for a few days now, but right now we rather be anywhere but here and confront the next part of the plan.

I look at Michael to give him strength and support, but my look quickly turns into the apologetically one I was trying to avoid.

"What are you waiting for? Do I need to go in a drag you out of there?" Ben asks aggressively.

Michael walks slowly across the back of the van until he reaches the gap between the doors. Ben pulls him outside making him stumble with his own feet, but his feet still get to the floor first.

Calum gasps and I realize I'm squeezing his hand with all my strength. I mumble a 'sorry' and tears start pooling in my eyes because of the anxiousness and fear invading me.

"You keep an eye on them, Billy," Ben orders the stupid guy and he climbs up into the van.

The doors are closed right behind him and we're left in the dark once again, literally and metaphorically.

When my dad called he didn't really told us any plan B, it was more of a speech where the grown up in charge tries to calm the kids down. He said something like, "Everything will turn up just fine, don't worry kids. I'll be there and help you out of this situation. You won't have to kill anybody Mike." And it went on a bit more, but there was nothing more than calming words. So right now all I have left is hope –yeah, I don't get where that comes from either.

Suddenly a loud laugh is heard. It's Ben from inside the house and I'm surprise I can hear it that clearly.

"Here you are, bastard," he says.

"How dare you show your face here, huh?" A second voice asks threateningly. "I know you plan to cut off part of my share and that's so not okay with me."

"What? You're a joke! You say that to my face when you want to erase me and keep the business?! You disgust me!" Ben sounds even angrier than a moment ago.

"Well, yeah, maybe I'll do that because I deserve way more than what you're paying me! I'm the one who keeps the business running and, let me tell you, that since Dan's gone it's a shitty one..." Those are the last words I can make out before it all turned into a low greeted teeth speech –if I'm not mistaken.

"You son of a bitch!" Is the next thing I hear coming out in Ben's voice.

Then just yelling and groans are heard, accompanied by hard core insults. I really hope Michael's not dragged into the fight.

The back doors of the van are opened startling us three. I was elsewhere mentally, making my hardest to read what's going on in the house, but I'm immediately brought back to the van reality.

With the streak of blinding lighting my dad appears through the gap. I don't know how to react and before I can even think about that, my dad's threatening the now-known as Billy with a gun aiming his forehead.

"You never saw me or you're ended, and it's not a threat in vain," Dad says between greeted teeth.

I was smiling now, it was one of those smiles that you feel growing inside you and crawl up all the way to your face; one you can't avoid. I've never been this happy to see my dad, his presence means our safety today.
