As some quick background before their departure, Percy had helped Esmeralda quietly sneak back into Hermes' cabin. It was still dark from the early hours, but slowly beginning to grow alit as the sun rose. It was only a miracle Conner nor Travis awoke during the commotion of Percy practically slamming the window open. More than a few frustrated words were exchanged at his callousness, but not much more before he dashed away towards his own cabin to grab whatever he could.
Esmeralda didn't dottle herself. She didn't feel partially keen on a scolding as soon as she joined up with the quest group. So, she swiftly dressed herself in a warm pair of fleece lined leggings and a movable green dress that stopped just below mid thigh. To finalize the deemed 'quest look', Esmeralda slipped her arms through a cotton flannel and her feet into a comfortable pair of socks and Doc Martens. Overall, her clothing would combat the cold well enough—for as long as she'd be outside, anyway. She was already well informed of the driving portion of the trip.
