𝐏𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐔𝐄 it takes time to know someone. Only, that isn't necessarily true. It breaks down to what an individual considers 'know' to be. You could 'know' a person at surface level—what their favorite color was, who they enjoyed being around—who they didn't enjoy being around. Knowing someone, that was simply...different.
For this circumstance, it didn't take someone knowing Esmeralda to see she was not pleased with her current living conditions—temporary or not.
Hermes' Cabin was said to be—normally—a bustling home to all those claimed and unclaimed. With the time rolling around Christmas, most of said campers were gone with their mortal families—as stated by Travis and Conner Stoll; they were the only two remaining, still pulling their trickery through camp. Even so, 'messy' didn't even begin to describe the state of the interior, lack of inhabitants aside. Clothes were strewn out over the floorboards and posters were hung asymmetrically across the wall. Beds were unkept, even the chests laid out at their ends weren't properly pushed against the bunks. Esmeralda's skin itched as her eyes darted over the mounds of good-naturedly stolen items in the corner. Nico, however, thought it was Olympus itself.
