Chapter 22

Louis P.O.V.

I got the text from the lawyer,he send me the address where the meeting is. At a hotel?? This address is an address of a hotel. Probably where Selena is staying.

After 15 minutes I finally got to the hotel.
I walked to the front desk.
"Hello sir how may I help you?"
"Mm.. I have a meeting with Selena Gomez."
"Oh yes. They are waiting for you. Top floor room 30."
"Thank you,love."
I walked to the elevator and press the highest floor.
After some minutes I was on the highest floor. I walked out of the elevator and started walking down the hall looking for room 30.
Finally I found it. I knocked and waited.
Finally the door open and Selena open was standing in front of me.
"Good morning."I said with a smile.
She surprise me and smiled back.
"Morning. Mm..come in."
I nodded and went in. The lawyer was sitting down on the main table.
Selena sat down and I sat down a cross from her.
"She'll we get started?" The lawyer asked. BTW his name is Bill.
I looked at Selena and then we both nodded.
"Okay."
He started of with telling us the normal usual things that wills have.
"Selena you were in Rehab right?"bill asked.
"Yeah for 1 year and half."
"Right."
"And after that you stayed in Canada until today?"
"Yes but am going back."
At the point I looked up to her.
"Well am sorry to tell you this but you cant."
I looked shocked.
"Why can't she,she is 19 already?"
"Well you see Louis and Selena. Your mom had made a contract with the Rehab place and a judge that after Selena finish she was due to return back home but your mother let her stay. Unfortunately the judge didn't agree. So before your mother died she wanted to leave things right. She went into court and the judge decide that due to Selena being in rehab and what she has been throw,she has to stay 2 years with a family member,which in this case is you,Louis. So it doesn't matter how old Selena is,it's the judges orders. Selena must live with you and every month or so a social worker will come and check up on Selena. Due to Selena background in Canada they will do drug test,drunk test,check if she self harms,etc. If anything goes wrong she will be sent to rehab again."
Wow. That was alot.
"WHAT NO!! I DONT WANT TO STAY HERE. I HAVE PLANS TO LEAVE."Selena yelled and got up.
I got up and went to her.
"Selena calm down."
"No lou!!!they have no right to tell me what to do."
She just called me lou. No one has called me that ever seen she left. I had told them not to because it remind me of her.

"Am sorry Selena but you don't have a say. It's the judge of the state orders. And you can't do anything."
"I can't believe it."
"Louis you must take Selena with you today. The social worker will be there tomorrow morning to check up."
I nodded.
"Again am sorry Selena."
And with that he left.
Selena was walking back and forth, she was anger but scare. Why was she scare??
"Selena please calm down."I said trying to stop her.
"I can't stay. If I do. I will... no I cant. I don't want to get hurt. I don't want." She said. But like she was talking to herself.
"Selena." I said and I grabbed her arm.
"I don't want to lou,I dont." She begged. She was crying. I have never seen her like this. So weak so broken.
I pulled her in and let her cry on my chest.
"Am here. Your not alone. You have me."

After some time she stop crying. She pulled away.
"Am sorry." She said.
"For what?"
"For everything. For crying on you for not being here. For not not calling. For not telling you. For leaving you. For-"
"Hey don't be. If anyone is sorry it's me not you."
"Why? I left you lou. I left you alone. I made you who you are now. I destroyed you. You never wouldve went to clubs,sleep with random girls,drink,get high. If I didn't leave this would have happen. Maybe mom could have live but no i had to ruin everything. Am so selfish."
"Please Selena. Don't blame yourself. What happen had to happen. You can't changed that,I cant."
"I know. But look at what i turned myself to, look at you and our friends. They probably blame me."

"This isn't you fault and they dont."

"Let's start fresh.you and me."I added.

"Lou you know that I won't change into the same little baby sister of yours right?"

"Am not telling you to change who you anymore but to not be someone your not. For example you can rude and mean with me but not do drugs and self harm."
Selena laughed.
"What a great example."
"I know aren't I great."
We both laughed.
"Okay let's start fresh."
"Yeah. Okay you need to pack because i can't leave you here in this hotel and also because the lawyer said so."
"Okay."

She went in her room and told me to wait for her.
I wanted to ask her more questions but I didn't want to push things.
I know she won't be the same but she will be my sister.
I just hope I can get her out of going to clubs and drinking and do all those bad things. And no am not being over protective! Am just watching out for her. And due to that I will try to stop clubbing and all.
I want her to know that we can do this together. We can get throw this together.
It will be tough but worth it.
Also I have to get the idea of her leaving after the 2 years she will spent here out
I want her to stay.

Arthurs note - 2 chapter in one day. Boo yeah!!!!! Am on fire. And am happy that Selena and Louis are trying to start fresh but it won't be easy I can tell you. Also just a preview. Harry and Selena will talk in the next chapter but don't your hopes up to far it won't go well. Anyways I will update tomorrow. Bye
