Pain.

That's the only thing Magolor's half-conscious mind could pick up, he was laying on wet grass as the raindrops trickled on his clothes and honestly, he just wanted to close his eyes back up and go to sleep forever. The things he had done to Kirby could never be forgiven and the crimes Magolor had committed didn't even feel real to him. He knew he was going to betray Kirby and yet he still felt guilty in the aftermath, he remembered the memories he shared with Kirby and his friends, Magolor was sadden and frustrated that he was never going to get that back and he knew it was all his fault.

As Magolor was about to close his eyes and drift back to sleep an enemy was charging straight to him, Magolor opened his eyes wide and panicked, shooting random attacks it until it died. All at once Magolor felt an immense amount pain in his body as he collapsed on the soft grass, he was confused on why he felt this way when the enemy did not damage to him but all at once it was made clearer to him what was going on when he looked at himself in a dirty puddle. His clothes had a grey and white appearance with his cape being torn and ripped, one of his brown ears were showing as the fabric was torn right off and to top this whole tragic outfit, he could see his tired and pale-yellow eyes in the reflection. He hated who he had become and so much to the point that once he stood up, he couldn't feel that pain anymore.

Magolor stretched a bit and looked around at his surroundings, the brightly coloured grass, the inter-dimensional wormholes which could lead to who knows where, pillars and pieces of planets floating around and the beautiful stars above him, he felt at peace when he saw beautiful nature around him, but that emotion disappeared when he saw enemies up ahead, he was disappointed and annoyed, but he figured he'll have to just deal with it.

He knew his magic was the cause of the pain, so he decided to fight the enemies slowly, it felt like a million years passed by waiting for his attacks to charge but once he cleared that area and made it at the end, he saw a star-like portal glowing bright, he knew he had nothing left to lose and jumped right in. He soon found himself in altar and with a big glowing green slice of apple?

Magolor was hit with confusion, but the apple slowly floated to the alter and he gained some of his magical abilities back like his bomb ability, sure it was small, but it was progress! This could be it! His chance to redeem himself and apologize to his friends, even if he had to get a million apple slices just to get his powers back and return back to dreamland, with a rush of determination on his side he decided to upgrade a few of his abilities and jump into the next star portal that awaited him.
