Despite its crumbling walls the place was surprisingly warm without a shield, though he kept it on because he started coughing and he didn't want to interact with the layers of dust that have settled on the surfaces. Beams of sunlight peak through cracked windows but Magolor didn't need any light from the surface to see what was going on in the building as glowing crystals had formed throughout the house. Emitting a soft glow to create pathways for Magolor to walk through, which was good as if he'd had to resort to using his fire magic to see, he'd probably burn down the whole house and maybe even dimension itself. He floated up to the ceiling and grabbed a purple crystal from above to use as a torch. Magolor saw two doors and decided to take the one on the left, he pushes the creaky open door, inside, he finds a normal washroom, if you don't look at the cracks and patches of moss littered throughout the place.

Nature had taken its course and surrounded the whole area, from vibrant flowers spilling over the cracks in the titles to the dirt and scratches on items. Magolor closed the door and checked the other room to the right, he had entered the bedroom and all he could notice was the sight of vines enveloping the whole space. Magolor didn't even have any legs and he felt like he was going to trip over everything, it was that bad that he even had to put his hand on the walls to navigate the whole place as the crystal light didn't reach the end of the room (he always made sure not to make his hand go over the shield, since who knows what kind of diseases he could get...)

This once normal bedroom seemed more like an overgrown garden, it was normal for nature to grow in this house, but it looked like twice as many plants and roots were here compared to the bathroom. Other than the nature that surrounded this room, it was pretty normal, and it resembled Magolor's bedroom in a way. He shined the crystal on one side of the room, it showed a well-kept bed with fluffy pillows and Magolor almost wanted to sleep on it if it weren't for the plants. He looked to the other side to see a broken and dusty desk, with papers and scribbles on the desk, next to the desk was a bookshelf, though multiple bookshelves could be seen throughout the room, untold stories and mysteries to be uncovered.

Magolor floats near one of the bookshelves and he gently reaches out and retrieves a dusty old book. He coughs as he tries to read the book outside of his shield to get a closer look, he opens the book to reveal pages, but it was unreadable due to the plants taking over most of the book. His gloves trace the faded text, hoping to get some information out of the pages. But he just couldn't read it at all, yet that didn't diminish his hope for some kind of useful information, page after page, book after book had nothing of value, disappointment settles within Magolor as he realizes the time he's wasted. Many of the books are illegible, their ink smeared or faded beyond recognition. Others have plants that have practically become one with the book and small tears and missing sections, it was just like back at the alter when he tried to read the ancient text there but someone or something had torn the pages, like they wanted the information of the dimensions to be lost to time or even worse, the thing that did this didn't want anyone to find out what was in it, maybe they were even targeting himself and Susie.

Magolor gulped and it sent shivers down him, but he kept himself composed as there was no main evidence for that other than the torn pages and the person who did it left no trace, and it was natural for nature to take hold on old objects like books, these kinds of things should be normal to Magolor as he always explores ruins on different kinds of planets and yet the situation presented to him felt so off, something just wasn't right, why would the books be torn out so violently? It had to be someone with someone with some sort of plant-like powers, right...? He needed to get to the bottom of this mystery, before this thing does something to harm them.

Magolor felt like he was going to go to sleep at any moment, he had read two full bookcases in the room, and he found practically nothing, but the thought of something harming him and Susie scared him to keep searching. He didn't want to be a bystander again, he wanted to help and protect the people he cares about and Magolor wouldn't let his own greed and selfishness take over him, not again. Just because he was tired didn't give him a right to relax, he had to keep searching. Magolor ears perk up, his heart starts racing as a loud thud is heard across the house and then a high-pitched yell. But the fear only lasted a few seconds until it dawned upon him that it was likely Susie, as his nervousness dissipates, his emotions are replaced with a mix of curiosity and relief. But at the same time, Susie could be hurt by something! He leaves the plant-covered bedroom behind, making his way through the dimly lit corridors of the crumbling house to find Susie.
