As we sit here
by the sea,
And your golden eyes
Stare back at me,
I feel nothing but
Complete and peaceful serendipity.I do not dare
To look away;
Because I know
That you will not stay.
And In your absence,
I will feel nothing but dismay.I promise to stay here with you
Forever and ever more,
But you will promptly leave.
I know it in my core,
Which is exactly why
I never want to leave this safe and sandy floor.I beg and plead,
Because I can't go on loving you.
You always get away,
You hurt me through and through,
But our love is nothing more
Then a sad, predictable taboo.

PoetryA collection of poems based on heartbreak, love, and healing. (Just know the theme of 'love' is very broad so it won't just be romantic love.) There is no order in the poems, they are standalone under the same theme. There is no updating schedule...
