Background Information

Before the invasion of the United States, the NATO alliance was in a difficult position, but when Russia invaded everything fell apart and a week before the United States was forced into a peace treaty, NATO dissolved leaving the United States to fight alone while trying desperately to bring anyone they had overseas back home to help fight
Though NATO has made a small return, the United States is barred from joining by Russia
After the peace treaty Alaska declared its independence from the United States as there is little to no way they can get support from the rest of the country while Canada and Mexico closed off all borders from the newly formed United Russian Federation Territories
Over in South America, countries fight for control of land and power as governments fall to communist uprisings
In an attempt to fight back uprisings and communist government the Federation of Free South America (FFSA) is formed in 2078 out of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia
After Columbia fell to a communist uprising they declared war on Panama in order to gain control over the Panama Canal
During the invasion the canal was destroyed
In Europe a new defense alliance was formed out of only European countries in order to defend Europe in case of another invasion from Russia
In 2075 Belarus took over Russia in an attempt to rebuild the country
By 2080 elections were held in Russia and a new president took control and Belarus gave control back to the Russian people
In 2083 a vote was put in to make Belarus apart of Russia but the vote was overturned to protect the freedom and own national identity of Belarus
A strong alliance is still maintained through the two countries which is very worrying to its neighbor Borislavia
Starting in 2085, Borislavia held a campaign to properly train its citizens how to defend their land and officially implemented child soldiers into their military
Training begins at twelve years old and service started at fifteen
In Africa the continent was split up between three newly formed countries
There's the North African Federation which makes up a majority of North and West Africa
The Egyptian Coalition which meets at the border of the North African Federation and have a huge border stretching from the center of Libya to the old DRC
The last of the three is the Free Nations of South Africa
The FNSA is a neutral country in the continent that aims for stability in the region and wishes to deal with the problems between the three countries democratically
Asia is in chaos
China has been in a civil war since the beginning of the 2080s
India and Pakistan have nearly wiped each other off the map
Remnants of dirty bombs and chemical weapons litter the two countries
In the Middle East, no formal government has existed since the detonation though the remnants of the Afghan government existed in the city of Kabul for a year after the detonation until its collapse
Conflict is brewing around the world and all it takes is for someone to take it too far
Fighting for resources, land, power
It all leads back to one thing that is keeping humanity going
