As I enter Botany I spot a familiar face, shrouded by raven black hair. The chair next to Wednesday is taken by someone with chin length hair so I take a seat next to a darker skinned girl, who introduces herself a Bianca.

"So, Gwen, what power do you have? I'm a siren." Bianca speaks in a low voice, trying not to attract the teachers attention.

"I can control gravity in a room." I respond, "It's not as cool as being able to manipulate someone."

"What do you mean? It sounds awesome." Bianca smiles reassuringly.

"Girls? Is your conversation more important than learning about nightshade?" Our teacher asks, eyebrow raised.

"No, sorry." We speak at the same time, causing a smile to form on my lips.

"Alright then there are many properties of the deadly nightshade...." The teacher drones on and on.

I zone out of most of the class because I've already learned enough about nightshade. I focus instead on the students in the classroom. I spot Ajax sitting next to Yoko and Wednesday somewhat sifting away from the boy next to her. I simply just shake my head and attempt to listen to the teacher for the rest of the class, unfortunately it didn't work. Now my mind is wandering around, asking who that boy sitting next to Wednesday is.

The bell rings, marking school and the last class of the day over. As I exit the classroom Bianca comes up to me and takes hold of my arm, leading me to a deserted hallway.

"Can you help me with the Botany homework? I can't seem to figure out what the fifth property of nightshade is." Bianca asks, shyly.

My eyes widen slightly in surprise, Enid had told me that Bianca was like the queen bee of this school, I guess things change, "Oh, um, sure."

"Thanks. So the main effects of nightshade are..." Bianca speaks out loud as she works slowly on the paper, occasionally asking me for some help. I, having finished my paper, was laying against the wall as Bianca wrote down her last sentence.

"Thanks Gwen!" Bianca gives you a hug, but quickly breaks away at the sound of someone else calling my name.

"Any time Bianca." I send her a smile, "Well, I best be going." I walk out of the hallway just to be knocked down by Wednesday once more. I fall to the ground, Wednesday on top of me.

"Enid wants you Gwen." Wednesday stands up and turns, ready to begin waking away, "She's waiting in your dorm."

"Oh, alright." I brush myself off before heading to my dorm. As I walk I silently wonder why Wednesday keeps avoiding me. Oh well, better ask Enid. Upon reaching my dorm, I spot Enid in a puffy pink jacket.

"Hey Enid." I give the werewolf a tight hug, "isn't tonight the full moon?"

"No the full moon's tomorrow." Enid replies, "I was wondering if you could tell me about your power, if you would want to of course. You know, so we can become better friends."

"Sure. Only if you can tell me about social media platforms." I grin as I open the door and step into my room. "So, basically, I can control the gravity in a room. Mainly when I have strong emotions, but if my focus is strong enough I can do it for a while." Letting my mind feel peace, I concentrate on the amount of gravity in the room. Enid starts floating, giggling uncontrollably the whole time. "Fun right?" I ask.

"Definitely." Enid let's out a squeak as I let her fall onto the bed.

I burst out laughing at her reaction before she shows me her claws. "I'm gonna get you Gwen." Enid chases me around the room and eventually manages to jump on my back. I give her a piggy back ride but stop suddenly at the sight of a hand. A FREAKING HAND!!!

"Gah! Get away!" I yell, dropping Enid and climbing on the bed.

"Gwen. It's okay. This is Thing." Enid scoops him up and places him on her shoulder.

"It is NOT okay! That is a freaking hand! Where's the rest of him?" I back away slowly, my back bumping into the wall.

"It's one of the Addams family mysteries." A monotone voice comes from the doorway, causing me and Enid to jump.

"Wednesday. I told you not to sneak up on me!" Enid snaps, turning on the girl.

"I said that I would consider it." Wednesday enters my room and grabs Thing from Enid's shoulder gently and turns to leave.

"Wednesday, who were you sitting next to in Botany?" I ask, " I would like to get to know more people in school." I quickly add.

"That was Xavier." Wednesday walks out of the room quickly, leaving silence in her wake.

"Okay then." I turn to face Enid, " Who's Xavier?"

"He used to like Wednesday but she turned him down and now they refuse to speak to each other, unless it's mandatory." Enid explains, "So... social media?"
