WEDNESDAY POV
A hiss reverberates around the pitch black room and my head whips towards the sound.
"You really thought that you could have a life with Gwen?" The voice cracks, sounding dry and throaty, "Did the Wednesday Addams forget about me?" It breaks off into a coughing attack, clearing its throat before continuing on, " I want to say that there's still hope for you but sometimes things never go your way. Do they Addams?"
I go to speak at the person but my tongue seems stuck to the roof of my mouth. My gaze flickers around the room, trying to find a source of light. The soft sound of scales slithering on the floor directs my attention and I spot a flash of light, that disappears as quickly as it came. After a minute and twenty- three seconds of silence, I finally manage to croak out, "Does hurting me make you feel good or something?"
"Ahhh. Good job, you finally figured out to speak." The voice praises me, making shivers roll down my spine, "And no, hurting you doesn't help me or anything, but it hurts Gwen and she deserves the pain."
My eyes widen at the mentioning of Gwen, "What have you done with her?"
"Are you turning soft, Addams?" A scratchy laugh erupts from the voice, "You think that I can change Gwen's destiny? That's cute. But she's dead."
"No." My thoughts turn to my vision. She was there, she killed Bella, she can't be dead yet. "That's impossible."
"Well last I heard lover girl, was that she was bleeding out on the ground of her dorm room, slowly loosing unconsciousness." Another laugh, this time maniacal and crazy, erupts, echoing through the room, "I'm quite sure that Gwen is dead."
Gwen. Is. Dead.
"No, she can't be dead!" I exclaim, my tone becoming harsh as anger fills my mind with the tree words running rampant in my thoughts, "She can't be."
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Are you sad?" The voice fills with mockery and I struggle to rid my bonds.
"She can't be dead. You have to have her somewhere." My breath hitches, "Please, I'll give myself to you, just let me see her."
"Desperate much?"
My head falls to the floor, my chin resting on my chest, "She isn't dead. Is she? I still need her. " I mutter.
"What was that?" The voice levels down to a hiss, "Are you sad?"
"This wouldn't be happening if she was alive." I raise my head, "What do you want to do with me?"
"Oh, Wednesday, I would love to do so many things with you but, unfortunately for me, someone else gets to play with you." The voice snickers, "Oh look, there he is now."
"Hello Wednesday." The oddly familiar voice sounds like poison to my ears, like a bad taste in my mouth, "It's great to see you again. And Bella, thank you for this opportunity."
"Shut up Galpin." The voice, Bella's voice, fades away as she leaves the room, "Have fun Wednesday."
"Tyler." I snarl, "What are you doing here?"
"Me? I'm just here for you." Footsteps patter around the room, he's pacing, "You know, what happened a couple months ago really changed me. Thank you." He flicks on the lights, temporarily blinding me.
Once my eyesight adjusts, I notice that I'm in an empty room, filled only with the chair that I'm strapped to and another chair that looks like a throne with its high spirals and purple cushions, "What is this place?"
"I never really noticed but your eyes can be so cruel and unforgiving at times." Tyler steps closer to me, a good two feet away, "They reflect your personality."
"Flattery will get you nowhere Galpin." I snap, "Where is Gwen?"
"I thought that Bella told you." Tyler quirks an eyebrow, but without my response he continues on, "She's dead." He smirks, "I killed her."
"No." I struggle with my bonds once more, but to no avail. Those bastards duck taped me to the chair. I scan Tyler up and down, looking for any injuries. None. "What have you done with Gwen? She wouldn't have gone down without a fight."
"She did. It just wasn't very good." he chuckles to himself, " There was also a lot of swearing involved. Mostly on her behalf."
"What are you going to do with me?"
"An assortment of things, just to catch up on some lost time." Tyler slides into the throne looking chair, noosing his legs over the side, "But what should we do first? Kill Xavier? Go on a date?"
"I'm doing anything with you." I seethe.
"We'll see about that doll." His eyes flash mischievously.
"I'm not doing anything with you." I repeat.
"I can wait too. At least I can come and go as I please." He nods, "And I can get food."
"I will kill you." I grit my teeth, still trying to undo the duck tape.
Tyler rolls his eyes, "Sure you will. Well, if you manage to escape, I will be right outside with Bella, most likely plotting Nevermore's downfall." He gets up and saunters out of the room, shooting me a cocky smile as he closes the door.
Time passes slowly and I can't seem to keep count of it. The door creaks open, capturing my attention.
"Given up yet Wednesday?" Tyler asks, slipping into the room, "I think that I know what we're doing today."
"And what is that?" My fingers connect for the first time, allowing me to maneuver the bonds in a different way.
"Because you're right were I want you to be." He walks around my chair, trailing his fingers over my shoulders. He smiles triumphantly, drawing out a knife.
I huff, a small smile tugging at my lips, "Sure you do, Galpin."
"What do you mean? Is this just a joke to you?" Tyler's steps falter.
"I have no need to be afraid." I rotate my wrists, freeing them from my bonds, "You see, Tyler, I'm not stuck in this room."
A flash of fear comes over Tyler and he stops in his tracks. My eyes light up as he looses his grip on the knife.
Within a moment, I have Tyler against the blank wall, his own knife pressed against his throat, "You are trapped in here with me."
