Dark Warrior (Bakugou Katsuki x Oc x Midoriya Izuku)

Act Three: The Three Heroes Part 1

"This is the campus of the academy where I'm going" Melissa said as she led Akane and Izuku to her lab "I apologize for the mess".

"You're worse than Hayate" Akane said as she started to tidy up the girl's lab a bit.

"Wow it looks so professional"  Izuku said in awe. "I can't believe you'd do research in a place like this."

"Oh, this is nothing, Hayate-niisama's lab is better"  Melissa said as she walked behind her desk taking out three small boxes from it and putting them in her pocket making sure neither the green-haired boy nor the raven haired girl saw them.

"Hayate? Are you talking about your adopted brother Akane-chan?" asked Izuku.

"Oh, yes, Uncle David and Melissa-neesama designed the lab, as we also use it or rather used to use it for missions it's a bit more advanced than this one."

Izuku's gaze lingered on the various trophies of the blonde girl, but something that caught his attention was the family photo where you could see a little blonde girl about two years old, a boy with jet hair about 8 years old and a newborn baby girl with big amethyst eyes.

"Melissa-neesama I told you to put that picture away, mouuuu" Akane complained as soon as she saw what Izuku was looking at.

"Never" replied Melissa

"By the way, you have more trophies than last time" Akane pointed out, looking at the array of trophies near the photograph.

"Actually, I haven't been getting good grades..."

"Huh? Why?" asked Akane worriedly.

"My experiments," said the girl as she stuck out her tongue and Akane threw a book at her.

"STOP NEGLECTING YOUR STUDIES!!!"

"Don't scold me, you know that's as close as I'll ever get to being a heroine," said Melissa.

"Huh? Why do you say that?"

"Izukkun, Melissa-neesama is quirkless" Akane said taking Izuku by surprise.

"I didn't have a Quirk even after I turned 5 years old, in fact when Akane got her quirk at 4 years old my Father decided to take me to the doctor, that's when I was told that I would never have a quirk" Melissa commented as she continued searching through her things.

"I say that those without a quirk are more valuable than someone with one" Akane said "They are one of the few people I admire, because they are the people who try the hardest..."

Izuku looked at Akane who was looking at him with eyes overflowing with love.

"Akane..." Izuku said in a breath his eyes glazed over as he saw the affection with which the girl looked at him, his hand instinctively moving to the amethyst-eyed girl's cheek.

"Right, I forgot that Akane-chan has a certain fixation with things from the pre-Quirks era," Melissa said, interrupting the moment that had formed between the two young heroes, as she stepped out of her storage room holding two different boxes.

"It's not a fixation and you know it Melissa-neesama," Akane said as she began to clear the lab.

" I guess that must have been hard even so, hearing that you wouldn't have something that's supposed to come naturally."

"Of course it was a shock for a while, though,"  Melissa looked at Akane who was now finishing fixing one of the shelves with her back turned. "I had people who helped me find what was most important to me, my true path."
