Ellie's POV:

My legs are crossed in my chair as I sit in my office trying to figure out how to sketch this dress.

My brain had so many ideas. And yet for some reason I couldn't transfer them onto paper.

It's like my mind was filled with thoughts. But I simply couldn't translate them

My black glasses were tilted slightly on my nose, as I held the pencil firm in my grip.

My thoughts consuming me and my body so bad that I had to stop.

But before I could even find a stopping point. A buzz immediately set me off as I looked at my desk to find a call from Anthony.

I immediately sat down my pencil and sighed before picking up the phone and answering it.

"This better be good Anthony. This is really not a good time."

He growled. "Ellie. We need you to come and watch Ace for a few days."

I narrowed my eyes. "Why?" I asked concerned.

With a groan he responded. "Because Bev is in labor."

My eyes about bugged out of my head. As I immediately stood up, pushing the chair outward. Almost causing it to hit the wall behind me.

"What? Ok. I'll be right there."

And without any hesitation. I hung up the phone and ran so fast towards my room and grabbed a suitcase from the closet.

I began to stuff with it everything I could think of before heading out the door in less than 5 minutes.

Nikolai's POV:

I never sprinted home so fast in my life as I began to pack a bag and head for Anthony's house.

This was his and Bev's second child. And they asked me to come and help watch Ace while they were at the hospital, which could take while depending on how everything goes with her.

I sighed as my driver soon pulled up to their house.

When the van came to a stop, I immediately jumped out of the car and popped the trunk before grabbing the handle of my suitcase and yanking it out of the back.

I shut the door behind me as I began to speed walk up to the door.

And with a knock on the door, Madeline, their head housekeeper answered.

She greeted me with a smile as I did the same.

"Mr. Russo. Pleasure as always."

I gave her a quick nod. "You as well Madeline. Where is Anthony and Beverly?" I said as I peeped over her shoulder.

"Oh. They went ahead and left. They were afraid they weren't going to make it if they waited any longer."

I looked at her confused. "So who is here with Ace? Just you?"

She sighed. "No. Mr and Mrs Brown asked if someone else would come and help watch him to."

My eyebrows narrowed. "I wasn't notified that someone else would be helping me take care of a CHILD."

She shrugged her shoulders. "See for yourself." She said as she stepped out of the way.

"Just leave your bag here and I will take it up to your room."

I gave her one more quick nod. "Thank you." Before jolting past her and into the living room I went.

When I met the room, I was immediately stopped in my tracks by the sight of a woman with long brown hair sitting on the ground playing with baby toys with Ace.
