A few hours earlier Kanai and Deontae had just woken up. They usually slept late on the weekends. School was so stressful it made they tired. Jessonica went back home the day after what happened. Kanai got a call from Jamisha saying she was having a kick back later and she should come.

Kanai: Who all gonna be there?

Jamisha: You know the usual. You,me Jessonica, Andreas and Deontae

Kanai: I don't know girl. The last time you had a party somebody ended up dead

Deontae: Yeah and we almost got indicted

Jamisha: Was that De? Girl tell him to shut up. I didn't know that was gonna happen

Deontae: How are your parents okay with this shit anyway? Oh I forgot your parents don't love you

Jamisha: Deontae don't get slapped

Deontae: Who gon slap me?

Kanai: Alright, alright, alright. Jamisha Deontae is right. You shouldn't be having no more parties foreal. We're not gonna make it but I hope you have fun though

Jamisha: Okay with ya scary ass

Kanai: Ain't nobody scared but what if that Nixon dude shows up again? We straight on that

Deontae: Yeah we straight. In plus we probably gonna do something later anyway

Jamisha: Okay whatever

Kanai: Sorry girl we just not about to keep taking chances like that. But text me later and let me know how it went. See you at school tomorrow

Jamisha: Okay girl bye

Kanai: Bye

Jamisha: Bye Deontae with yo ugly ass

Deontae: Girl don't be playing with me. I ain't ugly

Jamisha: Boy bye

Kanai and Jamisha hang up from each other and Kanai lays back down. Deontae and Kanai ended up falling back to sleep. They woke up an hour later and decided it was time to get up. They did their oral routine and then took a shower. After they got dressed they hopped in Deontae's car and went to ihop for breakfast. The hostess seated them and told them the waiter would be arriving soon.

Deontae: Get whatever you want baby

Kanai: Thank you

Deontae: I love you

Kanai: I love you to Deontae

The waiter came shortly after and took their food orders. Kanai got the cheesecake pancakes and Deontae got the short stack combo.

Kanai: Deontae can I ask you something?

Detonate: Yeah

Kanai: I was just curious. You always have money but you don't have a job. It's not illegal is it?

Deontae: No why would you ask me that? You're always around me and I don't show you that

Kanai: Nah my bad I was just wondering. I didn't mean to offend you

Deontae: I ain't offended. You can ask me anything I was just a little thrown off. My dad left me an inheritance when he passed away. My mom got a lump sum of money to

Kanai: When did he pass away?

Deontae: Two years ago

Kanai: How did he die?

Deontae: From a heart attack. He was really sick. He had a weight problem. The doctors kept telling him he needed to lose weight. The doctors would warn him time was of the essence. He kept saying he was gonna lose weight but he just never did. He must've thought he had time but we all we think that until we don't. He weighed so much his heart just couldn't take it no more and he had a heart attack. After his heart attack he slipped into a coma and then a few hours after that he was dead.
