It's Monday and school is back in session. Since Shania wasn't in Mrs. Johnson's class anymore she wasn't able to keep in touch with the kids. Kanai was finally back in school and Deontae had told her about what happened. During lunch Kanai went over to Mr. McKade's class to see Shania and just to say hi.
Kanai: Ms. Una
Shania: Hey Kanai how you feeling sweetie?
Kanai: I'm feeling okay. I'm just taking it one day at a time. Deontae told me you got moved to another class so I figured I would just come say hi. I wanted to let you know I was back in school
Shania: It's good to see you
Just then while Shania and Kanai were talking Berlin came back in the classroom. He had forgot his wallet as he was about to go get lunch.
Berlin: Excuse me Ms. Una did you want me to pick you up something to eat? It would be my treat?
Shania: No thank you Mr. McKade. You go on ahead I'll be fine
Berlin: You sure? I could get you a coffee or something
Shania: I'm fine
Berlin: Okay
Shania: Thanks anyway
Berlin: No problem
Berlin walked out with his wallet. Shania and Kanai began to talk again.
Kanai: Ms. Una you like being in this class?
Shania: It's okay I guess. How are you doing in your classes?
Kanai: I'm doing fine. I have a little bit of catching up to do but I think I can manage. In plus Deontae told me he would help me
Shania: That's good so you two are doing fine?
Kanai: Yeah we're good
Shania: That's good to hear. I'm glad you two are friends
Kanai: Me to. Well I'm gonna go and let you get back to whatever you were doing. I have to meet Deontae anyway in the lunch room
Shania: Okay well you go on ahead sweetheart. It was good seeing you. Tell Deontae I said hey
Kanai: You to Ms. Una and I will
After Kanai had left the room Danica walked in. She saw Shania sitting down at the desk and knocked on the wall. "What could she possibly want?" Shania thought to herself.
